24.01.2022 It's certainly not going to feel the same, not being able to attend any of our usual local Anzac services at Padstow RSL, Panania Diggers, etc, and the War Memorial this year... but our local member Wendy Lindsay MP East Hills has shared the following details below. From Wendy: Despite restrictions due to COVID-19, this ANZAC Day locals will be able to commemorate and honour our veterans and s...erving Defence personnel from home this year with a broadcast of special services. The day will begin with a 5:30am commemorative service from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, followed by a NSW service at 10:00am from the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park and the Cenotaph in Martin Place. Both these services will be broadcast live on ABC TV and streamed on the Anzac Memorial and RSL NSW Facebook pages. This ANZAC Day, We Will Remember Them. Lest We Forget. #ANZACspirit

17.01.2022 How are you guys all going? It's been a little while since chats in here, and I thought it was time to pop my face in to see how you are all coping? (and yes I'm sharing my actual face for a change, which you don't usually see!). For me, well.. I chose the best time ever to come back to work full time and re-launch my sales career in Feb this year, with the Covid restrictions hitting just as my first property listings launched ;) But on a more serious note, like I'm sure... many of you through this difficult and crazy time we are all living through, our main focus has been on getting our families, our staff and our business - Professionals Padstow Real Estate , safely through to the other side, as best we can. We love taking our gorgeous staff out for lunch, so we thought we might work our way around all the cool little eateries in our area and share about each with you as we go, as a way to support our local businesses that have been hit hard during Covid. . Today we popped down to our local - Padstow Park Hotel, which was completely refurbished a few years ago. Staff are always so friendly, the pub lunches are great, beer is chilled, and we alway...s enjoy it here. . Who else likes it here? Have you guys been here recently?
