11.01.2022 Iluka Rural Fire Brigade had two VIP visitors this evening when members of the brigade were presented with Bushfire Emergency Citations. District Manager, Superintendent Stuart Watts of the Clarence Valley Rural Fire Service and Member for Clarence Valley Mr Chris Gulaptis presented the citations to the members. Special appreciation was extended to the partners and families of the Firefighters for their ongoing support and help during the fires. Senior Deputy Captain Steve... Madden was also presented with a 10 year, long service medal. And last but definitely not least, Mrs Doreen Cupitt was presented with a 40 year clasp for all her amazing long service. Doreen said she is proud to have been a part of the Rural Fire Service and we are grateful to have such a treasure in our midst. See more

09.01.2022 The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast heat wave conditions to affect much of NSW until at least next Tuesday. This will increase the fire risk across much of state with Very High and Severe fire danger likely on the weekend. Plan and prepare now.
