22.01.2022 The Clarence Valley has the best seafood in the world right? We love this time of year, schoolie prawn season! Those little sweet beauties taste like childhoo...d holidays. Packing up the car with all the camping gear, stopping at the Fishos to pick up a couple of kilos of schoolies caught that day, a dozen bread rolls and off we go. Our first job while the grown ups set up camp, was to peel the prawns ready for lunch. Genius when you think of how long it takes to peel 2 kilos worth! "one for the bowl, one for me" And now we have a family of our own nothing changes! 06.01.2022 If you are coming to the Clarence Coast Holiday Parks for the school holidays, you will probably notice that the roads have changed since your last visit! The Pacific Highway upgrade is fantastic but please drive carefully as your route to the parks will be slightly different. Slow down, read the signs and travel safely we can’t wait to see you!

05.01.2022 Whilst we’ve stayed in Yamba in the past, we’d never checked out it’s northern sister Iluka. Just a twenty minute ferry ride on the other side of the river but ...a world away in terms of the lifestyle. Whilst Yamba is a beautiful seaside town that reminds me of an up and coming Noosa or Byron vibe, Iluka is the total opposite. A piece of the simple life sheltered from development with a few sets of local stores, a fishing coop, golf club and residential properties. There was something special about the serenity. No other place have I walked past an echidna strolling the streets and eating out of the locals front yards. The caravan park we stayed at was the Iluka Riverside Tourist Park which lines the riverfront in between the ferry dock and the start of the riverfront walking path and rotary park playground. Kids absolutely loved it. From the bike path along the river, fishing on the waterfront and the stunning wildlife we are so glad we got to check out this quiet little town. @ Iluka, New South Wales
