06.01.2022 For this epic tour of Australia with the soon-to-be released Microsoft Flight Simulator I've gone all out for resolution - hoping for the best when it comes to ...performance. All settings are maxed out (UHD) for resolution and world rendering. Keeping in mind this is still a preview build - the results are absolutely mind blowing. Yes there is work to be done - especially when flying in Australia - both big cities and random country areas are missing detail - but this will improve. I hate to call this a game because it's such a good simulator. I trained in Cessna 150 so that's why I'm doing most of my sim testing in the available 152 and 172 planes. I haven't flown for a while but this sim immediately put me back in the seat for my first solo in the mid 90s. It also helps to have the right gear so the follow is a list of equipment and how I recorded the flights. Enjoy! 02.01.2022 You know the specs so I'm just going to show you what the DJI Mavic Air 2 can do. While the weather looks perfect for shooting at my local headland it's importa...nt to note the wind was very strong. I lost my cap twice! The aim of the flight was to see how smooth the video at 4K/60P would be, how it would handle the fine detail of waves in motion and dynamic range. The settings for this shoot were manual.
