24.01.2022 A While Ago ... Well ok! a bloody long time ago, when I was a boy I was infatuated by cars especially the American cars! In my young adult years I owned quite a few American 'tanks', i.e. Dodge, Rambler, Ford and Chev etc .. ahhh those were the days. Anyway long time gone now but I still love it when I stumble upon one of my favourites from childhood, the mighty Ford Thunderbird (T.Bird). They are a classic in the true sense of the word, there have been songs written about ...them and this one was absolutely beautiful. From my day out at The Depot, Deniliquin NSW ...

21.01.2022 My Mum Told Me ... Apparently long long ago in a far distant time when things were much simpler and people lived with the 'simple' pleasures of life. Things were made of wood and apparently lime green and burnt orange were top of the pops. Believe it or not people actually smoked indoors and did weird things like eat dinner with the family at the dining room table, wow!... In those days I believe they had TVs in a big wooden box and it was often the case that the primary viewing position was taken by the 'smokers chair' ... interesting times indeed!

01.01.2022 As I Was Saying ... I headed out with intent today, a lovely friend of mine suggested I check out a place in Deniliquin [I've been there three times now so I can call it 'Deni'] NSW called The Depot, so this morning I hit the tar and headed to Deni. The Depot is great, full of history, old cars, old stuff and photos of dead people .. I felt right at home very quickly. So over next few days I'll post some of my best shots from my day out at The Depot in Deni NSW ... ... Many thanks to Vicki Wilson for the suggestion, I loved it
