21.01.2022 This view of the 23rd IMAGES OF TASMANIA exhibition seems to sum up the ups and downs of 2020 - the year of Covid 19. The hand sanitisation and signing-in station at the entrance to the show is rather diminished by the quiet strength of the surrounding art works. All the best to everyone for the coming year and we hope to see you all in 11months time at IOT 24!

21.01.2022 Tim Coad's exhibition, "Fourfoot Rd.: Tim Coad" is currently on show at the Schoolhouse Gallery, Rosny Farm, Clarence until 26th July. Open from 11am - 5pm, Wed to Sun. Employing a range of interdisciplinary strategies, Tim explores the collision between the forgotten place, the constructed landscape, and the narratives that emerge when one is framed within the other.

15.01.2022 Early this week, John Peacock - dear friend & much loved member of the Images of Tasmania team - passed away after a long illness. John is very fondly remembered as an enthusiastic supporter of our annual exhibitions since the first in 1998. Many IOT artists will also recall his kind & willing assistance and calm reassurances during the bustle & busyness of setting up & dismantling the exhibition each year and his warm bonhomie at many of our openings.... Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Jan and their family.
