24.01.2022 Some SEO news! Google's Penguin 3.0 update from 17th October seems to have affected approx. 1% of all English queries but is still rolling out. This update was mostly for backlinks to websites - and some sites with bad backlinks were affected. It is a good reminder to only use reputable SEO companies so updates do not negatively affect your site.

15.01.2022 It definitely looks like Google is now giving more favourable search result listings to sites with an SSL certificate. An SSL certificate secures your website visitors data, particularly on shop checkout pages, contact forms and other user input fields on your site. With the new SEO updates we highly recommend getting an SSL certificate and using it across your whole site. We'll be doing the same with our websites ASAP too.They start from about $50 a year and are quite simple to implement so please get in touch with us if you would like a hand doing this.

14.01.2022 Geez Brisbane is a bit different at the moment. Most definitely not the quiet little town I grew up in! The G20 is having quite the effect where we are based here in Newstead/The Valley! It is certainly a bit unusual having all these police, security, snipers on roofs, Russian warships off our coast, and the most influential world leaders within eyesight of where we work! Hope it all goes away soon...

10.01.2022 How time flies! Been a while since my last post. Among other things I recently finished a Cert 4 in Small Business through TAFE Qld. This was actually a free course as part of a Queensland Government initiative to help small business owners or those aspiring to start a small business. It was easily the best thing I have ever done for my own business, and I learnt so much from it. I highly recommend this TAFE course - it is completely free and only takes 1 weekend plus a coupl...e of 1 hour personal mentoring sessions afterwards.
