18.01.2022 Cubby house painting is so much fun! The children at Imagine Childcare and Preschool Blueridge Park had the opportunity to unleash their inner artist and paint a wonderful cubby house. The children discussed what colours they wanted to use, allowing them to have a voice in their learning. The activity also provided them with opportunities to work as a team and take turns. Amazing work everybody!

They have explored how Earth spins around the sun and have learnt about Earth’s axis. They have also learnt that the Equator divides the Southern and Northern Hemispheres. To demonstrate their learning, the children created a wonderful visual representation of their knowledge of Australia being in the Southern Hemisphere. 06.01.2022 At Imagine, teaching our children about cultural diversity and engaging them in multicultural activities is very important to us. Yesterday the Kindergarten children at Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Flagstone enjoyed a threading experience. The children learnt about the Torres Strait Island people and how they use weaving to make bags and mats. The children were then given feathers and pipe cleaners to weave into a beautiful artwork. 06.01.2022 The Kindergarten 1 children at Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten, created some special letters for the residents of Marana Gardens Aged Care Service, and posted them in our Imagine Childcare Post Box all ready for our postman to deliver this week. The children also painted the residents an amazing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander painting in recognition of NAIDOC Week.
