23.01.2022 Happy Thursday from our little bakers! Today all the children at Imagine Werribee were able to take part in our weekly baking class with Chef Emma. The children were able to mix together the ingredients in a big bowl and then roll their very own truffles which Emma then put into the fridge to set for the children to take home and enjoy!

Unfortunately due to public holidays falling on the days Jack was at daycare we were unable to celebrate on the day, however today we were able to sing a big Happy Birthday with big claps at the end! Odd shoes and shoes on the wrong feet is a specialty within our group of children so they didn’t hesitate to join in today’s festivities. It was awesome to see the creativity in some children’s shoes with decorations such as pom poms and faces on their shoes.

12.01.2022 We thought we would give the children a mini project to do over the weekend. We would love to create our very own spoonville! All you have to do is pick up a pack from our hygiene station out the front of the centre, decorate your spoon, return it in your ziplock bag with your childs name on it to the hygiene station on Monday and we will create an area in the front of the centre so everyone can see and add to it. ... Our pack includes: Pva glue, feathers, pipe cleaners, markers, spoon, sequins and other bits and bobs.

05.01.2022 Aishlyn was eager to start her play dough adventure with mum this afternoon, they collected a play dough pack from the centre and made some beautifully coloured play dough. Today the children and their educators picked their favourite red clothing out today to show their respect for our fallen soldiers in World War I. The children all participated in crafting their own red poppies which are the symbol from this war as they are the first plants that grew on the battlefield after the war. He has come with his bags packed and is ready for some fun. His name is Elvis the Elf and you will see him move around the centre over the next month checking on the children and reporting back to Santa ... 03.01.2022 Oh Toodools it Mickey Mouse Day Hooray! Today we at Imagine dressed up as our favourite little mouse! The children were able to participate in Mickey themed arts and crafts. Chef Emma also made some yummy vanilla cupcakes that were red with white polka dots just as Mickey and Minnie wear!
