24.01.2022 To this. A great challenge to restore a beautiful chair!

23.01.2022 This 3.6 mtr table was commissioned to be restored from original (and slightly rotted!) condition, to being a strong and useable surface that matched the decor of the room. For more details of this work please contact David.

20.01.2022 A bit of shameless self-promotion!

19.01.2022 Constructed entirely from recycled timber, mainly Myrtle and Black-heart Sassafras. Kitchen designed to match the hardwood sleeper exposed beams installed beforehand, and add warmth and depth to an otherwise featureless house. Finished in hand polished satin. Although some of these photos may not be the clearest, the end result was warm and functional, and truly a bespoke work. Contact David for more info.

18.01.2022 Side table of spotted gum, Birdseye stringybark and myrtle

17.01.2022 Made entirely from recycled timber. The benchtop features burn holes filled and highlighted with resin. Shelves made from an original North East fire service Oregan ladder, salvaged from the tip! Contact David for more info.

16.01.2022 Made from 40 year old redgum house stumps. Wood had compressed and hardened, and displayed stunning grain patterns. These were commissioned as table settings to complement the table tops, also made by Imago Bespoke Timber. Used both as salt dishes and serving plates for appetisers. Contact David for more info.

16.01.2022 What we did over the holiday break! In the finishing room, waiting for final coats and polishing. The larger item is a coffee table constructed of birds-eye stringybark, ironbark and redgum. The smaller a reading or lamp table, out of spotted gum and bird-eye stringy bark. Both will be hand polished after curing, and finished with rich wax.

15.01.2022 Commissioned to join and finish 22 tops measuring 880mm x 750mm for a new restaurant setting, using recycled and high-burl timber for character Each top individually joined, then knots filled with clear resin to level and highlight timber. Danish oil and hard polish finish to capture night lighting in dining room and reflect warmth to the room. Contact David for more info.

15.01.2022 The latest project....what is it?

09.01.2022 Cut from a single ancient log of Huon Pine from Tasmania's West Coast, hand sanded, polished and finished for a tough but neutral look showing the natural grain of the timber. These were a custom order for a restaurant. Contact David for more info.

08.01.2022 Thanks to Anthony Simone of Simones Restaurant for this review, nice to have a happy customer!

01.01.2022 An interesting read, and entirely in keeping with the Imago Bespoke Timber philosophy. We use only recycled or deadfall timber in our products, and it's safe to say way more character is to be found in the old and well warn!
