21.01.2022 Body Composition !!! I M FIT Australia conducted free body composition test at Anytime Fitness Hornsby to everyone with an interest to discover bit more about t...heir body, health and fitness condition. We use for this purpose Tanita RD-545-sv. The machine gave a variety of reading such as Body Weight, BMI, Body Fat %, Muscle Mass, Muscle Quality, Visc. Fat Level, Bone Mass, BMR, Body Water Content %, Metabolic Age and much more detailed segmental readings. As we discussed later in the follow up 1 on 1 consultation we pointed to three key elements that from our point of view are perhaps the more important to take in consideration. These key elements we suggested, if not in the healthy zone, an action and care must be taken immediately in order to bring these into the preferable healthy value. 1. Body Fat Percentage - you MUST aim to bring your body fat percent into the HEALTHY ZONE. Body fat % greater than the recommended healthy zone puts your health at high risk category making you prone to chronic diseases like arthritis, asthma, back problems, cancer, heart, stroke, vascular disease, kidney function, mental and behavioural problems, osteoporosis and the list goes on. 2. BMI (Body Mass Index) your BMI is an indication of whether you are healthy, overweight or obese. Obesity is a disease that requires immediate action to reduce excess weight/fat. The chronic diseases mentioned above are even more likely to occur if you are obese!!! 3. Metabolic Age compares your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) to an average of your age group. Your BMR is strongly related to your muscle mass, muscle quality and body fat percentage. You MUST increase your muscle mass and MUST decrease your body fat percentage to improve your BMR. If your metabolic age is higher than your biological/chronological age, YOU ARE IN TROUBLE! You must act immediately to reduce your metabolic age to at least match your real age! 13.01.2022 I M FIT Australia is on a mission to educate gym members and the general public giving an insight into body composition, better nutrition plan and suitable exercises to increase training efficiency. Everyone knows that being overweight and obese is not a preferable body condition. Being overweight and obese may cause multiple chronicle diseases such as diabetes type 2, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease and more. As a direct result of such condition, one may suffer... heart disease, stroke and chronic kidney disease. Obesity and overweight condition can also cause a series of psychological effects that may impact the behaviour of a person that in extreme cases may require medical treatment. Such reaction may be associated with an increase of frequency of moods, anxiety, depression and other psychiatric disorders particularly amid people with severe obesity. Suffering from such effect may even increase ones weight even more. As for I M FIT Australia, although at this stage we are addressing a variety of gyms and health clubs in an attempt to assist members who have some awareness and are taking action towards better health. The aim is to reach all people that require assistance, bit help and education and are willing to change their perception of fitness and health. So far we have visited few of Anytime Fitness Clubs, jets Fitness and Plus Fitness we are constantly growing, and the feedback we receive from club managers and members fuelling our energy, enthusiasm and motivation to keep going we do it together is our slogan and Let's make Australia slim.
11.01.2022 Gym, health clubs and exercise studios are now open! Members and exercisers restarting theirs training programs and thats fantastic. Couple of things, nonetheless to bear in mind: first, dont rush into an intense routine like you havent stopped. Bring and build up the fitness level gradually and give it some time to adjust. Second, dedicate first couple if weeks for muscle endurance regimen rather to muscle mass buildup and power. It is essential to allow the muscle and ...bones to pick up and support up coming intense workout. I would suggest 2 - 4 weeks of overall body workout (assuming 2-3 times a week) using light-mid weights 2-4 sets of 12-15 repetitions. Cardio should integrated, as interval training of 15 minutes in heart rate of 120-130 bpm, assuming resting rate of around 80 bmp. Good luck and keep healthy.
