24.01.2022 Book Club for Term 2 will still be available, but on-line only. The catalogue is available by clicking on the link https://scholastic.com.au/book-club/virtual-catalogue-1/... There will be no Cash orders available for Term 2, but on-line (LOOP) orders can be done (see order form on the second last page of the catalogue). Orders to be completed by Tuesday 12 May. Books will still be delivered to School, and parents will be contacted when they are available to be collected.

21.01.2022 Setup for success at Immaculate Heart, every Monday from 9am - 10.30 am. This program is for children birth to 5 years. Everyone is very welcome Please contact us for more information. Today, Dinosaur play! ... We hope to see you soon for some Dino stomping! This week we will focus on dinosaurs through lots of sensory play experiences and a small world set up with a focus on using our imagination as we play together. During our literacy time, we will read - ‘I’m a dirty dinosaur’ and listen very carefully to see what actions we can act out as we listen to the story. We had small numbers last week due to Pre-Kinder officially starting at school. Please know Setup is still on each week from 9am - 10.30 am and everyone is very welcome

13.01.2022 Year 3-6 Options have included some great activities, including bushwalking. Last Wednesday we walked the Pipeline Track on kunanyi (AKA Mt Wellington). It was a great walk on a hot day and the view was spectacular.

Our flight training students - Manoj, Alham, Bec, J...ack, and Mitch - took them on a tour, showed them our aircraft, and we had a super-fun paper plane challenge. Lovely to meet so many enthusiastic young pilots-in-the-making!

07.01.2022 Setup for Success at Immaculate Heart - Nurturing Hearts During Term 3, we are excited to be able to offer our Setup for Success program once again on Monday mornings from 9:00am 10:30am in the Kinder Room. As you would be aware, due to current Covid-19 requirements, we have had to put in place a number of measures to ensure the care of our entire community.... Please be aware that when you attend Setup for Success, these things will be in place: We ask that you RSVP to the school via the Google Doc link below https://forms.gle/7zsrihsPMhemaGPu9 We ask that only one adult attends. Other family children can come if necessary. On the day, if anyone in your family is unwell or have cold like symptoms you all will be unable to attend that session Use hand sanitiser upon entry Sign yourself and your child in as you enter the room We may ask adults help with wiping down a surface as your child moves from an activity BYO your own hat, water bottle and fruit. We will not be sharing fruit for now. Setup for Success sessions will be both inside and outside and you will be asked to follow your childs lead to play in the area of their interest. We encourage adults to interact and play alongside their child. In doing this, we will ask parents to be mindful of the 1.5 meters physical distancing when close to other adults. Children interacting and playing together is encouraged. All advice will be subject to further consideration in the case of new restrictions or health advice. She shared Dreaming stories of How the Tasmanian Devil or Taraba Came to Be, How the Cockatoo and the Swan Got Their Colours and How People Came to Tasmanian. If you heard one of Trish's special Dreaming stories, maybe you could share it with someone at home.
