25.01.2022 How Aussie are you? Would you be willing to be put to the test ? Would-be citizens must pass a citizenship test in order to become full-fledged Australians. That test will be updated from 15 November with new and more meaningful questions that require potential citizens to understand and commit to our values. What questions you would put on a test of Australian values?... Try the practice test and let me know how you go. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au//prepare/practice-test-new #australiaimmigration #australianbusiness #migratetoaustralia #australianvisa #workinaustralia #visas #visa #immigration #globalmobility #hr #humanresources #citizenship

16.01.2022 Don’t Poke a Sleeping Bear ! Is it necessary to undertake labour market testing (advertising) for a role to be sponsored under a permanent subclass 186 ENS visa? It was never required in the past. Arguably it isn’t required now, for there is no such criterion in the legislation.... However there is a pandemic and mass unemployment. So https://glomo.com.au/dont-poke-a-sleeping-bear-labour-mark/

13.01.2022 In immigration law, you could say the only constant is change - and then even those changes change! Case in point: a little while ago, we flagged a significant change to the labour market testing requirements for TSS employer-sponsored visas, namely that in addition to placing 2 ads, an additional ad would need to be placed on the government’s Jobactive website. This has since been changed to a requirement to advertise on Jobactive + only 1 other site. So 2 ads ra...ther than 3. You can read the updated legislative instrument here: https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2020C00871 Update: Home Affairs has advised that the legislation has a drafting error, and the original news was correct i.e. 3 ads. So now we’re talking about changes to changes to changes! #australiaimmigration #australianbusiness #migratetoaustralia #australianvisa #workinaustralia #visas #visa #immigration #globalmobility #hr #humanresources

01.01.2022 The pndemic border closures could be seen, amongst other things, as an experment as to what would happen if vices against immigration were taken seriously.
