25.01.2021 by DANIEL WELLS Stay away from these people. These people were previously known as 'Starmovers' and have changed their name for obvious reasons. I made a huge mistake and used them when moving house. When they arrived to my new house they had damaged numerous items including television, picture frames, and other items. Then when I thought it couldn't get worse my stainless steel refrigerator fell out the back of their truck. When I said something along the lines of "lucky you got insurance", the person in charge named Clyde told me that they weren't insured, which came as a huge shock as they said on their website that they were insured. Once they unloaded my belongings Clyde told me that he wouldn't be able to finish removing the rest of my items which left me with the major dilemma of having to find another removalist to retrieve my other items from my old house. Then after months of having to go to VCAT and court they were ordered to pay me an amount of money to help cover some of my costs of replacing and repairing my items. Despite having a court order to pay me I was constantly having to chase them for payments and up until recently (3 years later) they said they weren't going to pay me anymore money despite still owing me over $500. Don't make the mistake I did by using these people. Any queries I'm happy to show proof of damage, court orders etc.
