23.01.2022 IT CAN BE DONE! QLD successfully hosts Australias first major exhibition under strict COVIDsafe regulations. Everyone involved deserves to be celebrated, from organisers to exhibitors through to attendees as it will continue to take strong, sensible efforts from the entire community to build on this progress. The annual caravan and camping consumer event, the Gold Coast Expo, was held from July 24-26 at the Gold Coast Turf Club. The expo showcased the latest in camping, cara...vaning, 4x4s and boating across a large outdoor space, where over 10,000 people were expected to attend over the three days. 22.01.2022 The 90s was the decade of bigger is better. Big movies like Titanic, Braveheart and Forrest Gump. Big voice singers like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. Big Impeachment scandals, big agreements towards peace in the Middle East. This philosophy was conveyed through to tradeshows throughout the decade. Big floor space and big builds were the trend. The team at Impact is very fortunate to have built their experience from the decades of industry leadership provided by company founder, Diana Wilkins. This deep catalogue of past trade shows and past clients gives Impact an incredible foundation to continue building on. Read More: http://www.impactdisplays.com.au/memory-lane-back-to-the-9/#
21.01.2022 Similar to cooking without a time limit, or shopping without a restricted budget there is no challenge. Practically anybody can succeed when the conditions are simple. The same goes for designing exhibition display stands. Most companies will be able to deliver you a great design when the space and budget are unlimited. But what about those display spaces with the odd floor spacing, or the difficult floorplan placement, or the venues with the low ceilings, small loading docks and short bump-in periods? Read how Impact Displays approaches these challenges: http://www.impactdisplays.com.au/creative-solutions-for-ch/
21.01.2022 It is time to change the acronym. We dont like the negative connotations hovering over the philosophy of Keep It Simple Stupid (K.I.S.S.). What that mindset means to the team at Impact Displays is D.O.S.T.E (pronounced doh-st-ee; like toasty) Do One Small Thing Expertly. Rather than try to fill an exhibition space with hundreds of bells and whistles, all the latest trends and tech, some of our clients benefit from focusing on a singular objective and delivering on that to the best of our collective abilities. 19.01.2022 The Federal Government has announced their guidance to the states on steps toward lifting COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings and events. 15.01.2022 Techniques for creating Design Concepts should have equal parts consideration for the design team as well as the client who will be approving the concept. Sometimes a clients brief may lack an element of creativity that you need to inject into a design for presentation. Sometimes a client brief may not have considered physical, spacial limitations but it is still vital that your design concepts effectively conveys their initial concept. 12.01.2022 In any normal year, putting together a tradeshow involves the organisation of a million moving parts. 09.01.2022 There is no right or wrong when it comes to selecting your stand build approach. Certainly the two most popular approaches are between a modular system and a custom build. We have outlined the top 10 considerations in stand planning and whether a modular system or a custom build holds the advantage from those considerations. 03.01.2022 If you can remember the sound of a dial-up modem, the whir of a floppy disk or the helpful cartoon paperclip guide then you have been in the computer game as long as our Impact Displays team have been designing and building exhibition stands. 03.01.2022 You cant just build it and expect them to come. Tradeshow stands need a draw card experience that will lift them above the rest, something to make them more interesting than their neighbours. One tried and true draw card is presentations and product demonstrations. It is always a good idea to incorporate presentations into your trade show stand design. Two of our clients GAMA Healthcare Ltd and Allergan had great success with their presentation spaces. Allergans revolutiona...ry silent disco audio and paired ipad presenters ensured their presentations were always to a packed house. At Australian College of Infection Prevention event in 2018 GAMA showcased the RediRoom, a mobile infection control room. This large scale product demonstration ensured many curious eyes at every presentation. 03.01.2022 COVID-19 has forced retailers around the world to adjust their operations and rethink strategy. National U.S. retailers, such as Macys and Gap. saw their sales drop up to 50% in the first quarter of 2020 because of stores forced into COVID closures. Conversely, online shopping is up 31% YoY. In the first month and a half of lockdowns, e-commerce platform Shopify reported a 62% increase in first-time users. After the initial COVID shock wore off, April and May saw an increase... in overall spending YoY. People are still shopping, but they are shopping differently. So now pop-ups are being re imagined, playing a different role. Short-term pop-up shops have long served as testing grounds for brands to experiment with and tap new audiences. Now they have a role to return confidence for consumers in the physical shopping experience. Read more: http://www.impactdisplays.com.au/powerful-pop-up-era-short/

02.01.2022 SAVE ON TRAVEL COSTS! As Business Events around the world start to find their feet and open up again, some of the biggest challenges will be less around #COVIDsafe restrictions on site but rather travel restrictions on key staff members required for exhibitors to put their best foot forward at any tradeshow.
