21.01.2022 THIS EVENING - hope to see you there.

19.01.2022 Hi everyone We realise this is a weird request but if you could help, that would be awesome. We have a project in mind but to make it happen we need a LOT, I repeat a LOT of erasers, marbles and organza bags (approx 9x7cm). Could you help source these (for a super great price - ie. preferably free) or personally introduce us to someone who might be able to help? With thanks in anticipation.

12.01.2022 BIDDING CLOSES TOMORROW 'REST IN POWER' Quilt - Honouring RBG (Ruth Bader Ginsburg). This stunning and iconic art quilt pays tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg who passed away on 18 September 2020 at the age of 87.... The only Supreme Court Justice to become a pop culture icon, here are just five reasons as to why RBG’s achievements have be groundbreaking: 1. She battled and overcame sexism both personally and professionally. 2. As one of only nine females in her graduating class of more than 500 men at Columbia Law School, she co-duxed the class and then became the first woman to become a tenured member of the faculty. 3. As the second female law professor at Rutgers, she fought for and achieved equal pay’, 4. She had ‘In the year of Our Lord’ removed from Supreme Court bar certificates. 5. She was the first Justice to officiate a same-sex marriage. Created by textile artist @Andi Herman, this quilt is aptly named ‘Rest in Power’ and is quilted with RBG’s infamous words, ‘Women belong in all places where decisions are being made’. Andi is well known in the quilting arts' community as a creator, an innovator and inspiring teacher. Andi has deliberately left the quilt unfinished so that the auction winner can choose the final binding (around the edges) in the colour of their choice. Dimensions: 95cm wide x 85 cm high. Materials: Cotton fabric with cotton thread detail. BID NOW https://event.auctria.com/79d319de-bed2-4476-b87f...

02.01.2022 Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women & Children and the first day of the 16 Days of Activism leading up to International Human Rights Day. These 16 days offers an opportunity to raise awareness of the abusive behaviours often normalised in our communities. In Australia, we have lost 53 women and 23 children so far this year to alleged murder or manslaughter, MOST at the hands of someone who once told them, 'I love you'.

01.01.2022 Mega thanks to WIZO Kids Victoria who packed 2000 lolly bags today on Mitzvah Day Australia to go into our Bags of Love. Awesome work guys!

If so, please consider donating your phone and charger to Impact to give to Victorian women who have had to flee to crisis accommodation because of life threatening domestic violence. Please PM me for drop off details. Thanks.
