24.01.2022 Stay In bed. Classes canceled this morning 26th of Oct. To dangerous. Due to rain & wind the area under the cover will be wet & slippery

24.01.2022 Thursday morning going off. We are almost out of winter and looking good for Spring.

23.01.2022 Ok so none of the new Covid restrictions seem to effect us. GREAT But with that said let's please be more mindful of what we are doing and maintain the high standard that we did in 2020 2 people in the storage locker at one time... When possible go into hall via side doors and out the back via fire doors. Keep your distance at classes. Stay In your training zone. Don't group together after classes. Basically grab your gear and go. If arriving while classes are on. Drop your bag off and warm up away from the training group. I'll let you know if you need equipment. Use hand sanitizer when arriving, during and after class. Don't touch anyone else's equipment unless I clean it for you. If you're feeling any cold or flu symptoms please stay away and go get tested Let's play by the rules and be seen to be following the rules.

22.01.2022 Just thought I'd share with you a post from a chiropractor who I have been seeing for many, many years Best of Health I often see people seeking the best supplement to take to restore their health or argue over the best diet, the best exercise program to maximise their health. All these are good things and can help improve a persons health but they all rely on the nervous system working at its best.... The nervous system is the master control system of the body and holds the key to the body’s incredible ability to heal. Having the best diet or taking the best supplements still relies on the nervous systems control of the digestive system to breakdown the food appropriately then transport the nutrients via the blood stream to where they are required to do their job. Even the best exercise program needs the nervous system functioning at its best so muscles can contract and relax at the right time for optimal movement, strength and flexibility then post training so you can recover appropriately in time for the next work out. Seeking out the best is a good thing in lifestyle choices like diet and exercise but making sure your nervous system functions at its best allows these lifestyle choices to make maximum impact. Chiropractic care aims to optimise your nervous systems ability to control all your body’s function so you can express the best life possible.

22.01.2022 I love this. Surely if each of us made one of these we could get together on a Saturday and still go for a jog.

20.01.2022 Move or die sooner It has been reported by The World Health Organisation that about 3.2 million deaths per year can be attributed to insufficient physical activity. Lack of movement is killing more people per year than obesity. Honestly, I have no idea how many of the 3.2 million had been over weight, but I am pretty sure it would have been a contributing factor too. Either way physical inactivity is now taking lives. 20.01.2022 When you have a space this big to train people outside it's very easy to social distance. 3m between mats in all directions.

17.01.2022 Monday morning kickboxing. Go team

17.01.2022 Tonight after 6.00pm I will be posting my 2020 goal setting system in my free community group. If you want it you better join the group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/286250111553600/ All my members what follow this style of system reached their goals in 2019 and have so far maintained their results.... Im not and have never been into bullshit motivational speeches that have you taking on the world. This kind of motivation has an all or nothing approach that will most likely have you face planting off the nearest cliff. So many people this year had very similar goals, Get a better job. Never happened Leave a bad relationship. Never left. Lose weight: Well they had ago. Stop smoking: Did for a week Okay you get the point, not many people in 2019 accomplished their goals and that had nothing to do with the goals that they set, it was the way they went about trying to reach that goal. They went too hard and too fast with no plan of action. They tried to do to much in less than no time. It was a trainwreck waiting to happen. How do you eat an elephant. One bite at a time. Yes it will take a while. But you can't eat it all in one day, but you could do 5 bites a day......and you will reach your goal over time. It's called the compound effect. Measured, daily, achievable steps that build up over time to help you achieve your goal. I only ever set compound effect goals. I play the long game must of the time and I reach my goals. 2020 is the year to sort your shit out and get on with it, no more shitty plans that have you heading towards disaster. I'm not interested in helping people set short term goals in 2020. I will only be playing the long game with people who are determined to gain and retain results that will be with them for a lifetime. That is the legacy I want to leave on this planet. I can say with pride that I helped people improve their world. So no more pissing around. No more wishing for results. No more pointing the finger when you stuff up and no more trying to eat the whole elephant in one go. If you want it you better join the group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/286250111553600/

16.01.2022 Video footage of last night's TV interview. Don McGee and Melinda Aslin fronting the cameras and answering some challenging questions about health and lifestyle.

16.01.2022 Really think we need to work on our transition from down dog to up dog..

15.01.2022 Morning are getting a little cooler but the energy at 5.30am is still very high.

15.01.2022 My plan for 2020 Completion and adventure. Impact 20/20 rule In 2020 I want to have a theme that we will follow throughout the year. Here is a plan that I have ...in mind. Its simple really......over the coming 12 months in 2020 I want us to follow a monthly system that has us completing our goals but also incorporating some adventure into our lives. Let me explain what I have in mind. Completion: There is no point having a beautiful planned out goal and attack plan if you don't go about trying to complete it. So each month I would ask you to set a goal around the theme for the month but I'll only ask you to give 20% more effort or maybe you need to reduce a bad habit by 20%. This will be impacts new 20/20 rule. Adventure: Trying new things has not only been proven to have great benefit for your physical health but also your mental health as it challenges your mind and your body in a completely new and foreign way. So this year I personally will be taking on some different physical challenges as well as getting out there and moving my body in different ways. Some of my ideas are to go kayaking in the Sydney Harbour, downhill mountain bike riding, rock climbing, platform driving and I don't like heights. My aim will be to do one new activity a month. Impact new 20/20 rule: This new rule is pretty simple. Stop trying to be perfect, stop trying to do everything and just focus on being 20% better. Have a think about it. If you did 20% more cardio a month would that help your health? YES If you ate 20% healthier. Would that improve your health? YES. If you drunk 20% less alcohol a month. Would that be enough to improve your health? YES. Can you do 20% more or less. YES. So to recap. Each month I will have a new topic or strategy that we can base our goals and the 20/20 rule around. On top of this I want us to add a little bit of physical adventure into our lives. Example. A topic that we focus on could be recovery. During that month I will post formation about sleeping, stretching rehab, correct food nutrition, everything involved with getting your body functioning correctly and recovering the right way. A simple goal that you could set around this topic is going to bed 20 minutes earlier each night. The adventure component of this month as I stated above is to go and try something physical that you've never done before. That's it, it's a very simple plan, but it's a plan that will give you lots of new content every month but also will allow you to set simple goals each month that you can complete and benfit from. Okay this is the part where you can get involved. Post some of the ideas that you would like to see as a theme for the month or new adventures we could go on as a group.

Instructions: 1#Peel, chop and boil the sweet potato until it is soft. Drain away the water and place sweet potato in blender. 2# Add garlic, green onion, mustard, salt and pepper to the blender and blend until everything is super smooth. You may need to add small amounts of butter as you go to help it go smooth and creamy. 3# This is the easy part. Add your favorite meat..in this photo I just reheated some beef from a previous meal. 08.01.2022 WHAT A MORNING.

08.01.2022 Results come from consistency and effort over a sustained period of time. 15 years I have been at it now.....training people in the hills area. I can honestly say that right now I have an amazing group of people. SO FOCUSED.

08.01.2022 Some photos of last night's TV interview. Melinda Aslin and Don McGee being the centre of attention.

07.01.2022 It's only the start of August and morning and night classes are going strong. Spots filling up fast. 20 max in a class. With plenty of social distancing space. It's simple. New time table and class content making it easy to train hard and stay safe.... So proud of my current clients....sticking to the requirements that I have in place to keep them safe and other Impactors safe too. I really want to thank all of you for stepping up and rising above the crowd. I can see all of you doing your best to stay covid safe while still getting the most out of your workout. I am sure you will all agree, that what I am doing is working and what you are doing is allowing me to improve your experience at class while in this difficult time. Thanks again Impactors. Just a reminder Class Coivd guidelines Sanitise your hands before walking on to the court. Arrived at class at least 5 minutes early so you can receive instructions from the trainer and setup equipment if required. Normally I get this done as it allows me time to clean the equipment before class. Bring two towels to class: One large towel to cover floor mat. One to remove body sweat. Place your bags on the silver benches and allow as much space as you can between someone else's bag. I clean the silver benches at the end of class. Once you are in your exercise zone stay there. Warm up there. Never touch anybody else's equipment or enter their zone. Basically stay within a metre of your mat Use the hand sanitizer often and definitely as you leave class. As soon as class is over and you have helped packaway leave the school premises. No grouping together after class... simply get in your car and go home. No more than 2 people near the storage locker at one time. I will explain this at the end of each class. If you hear me shout out your name.... don't be scared or get grumpy. You are most likely being a dumbass and breaking one of the rules and I and simply reminding you of the rules.

07.01.2022 Legs legs and more legs. Resistance bands. Let's build them glutes up.

04.01.2022 Weight Heights public school group outdoor fitness classes. It's time to close....for now. WE ARE CLOSED. I know we are still allowed to be open. I know we a...re following the government recommendations of no more than 10 people and you guys have been incredible at maintaining social distancing. More than 5m of personal space in class. BUT. It does not feel right. We need to do more. I NEED TO DO MORE. Hell I could have stayed open. I could even advertise and added more clients, but that would be wrong and I will not let my kids see me doing the wrong thing even if the Government says it's ok. I needed to make a decision that I would be proud of in 10 years from now. Decision made. So it's virtual we go. A whole new world. To my many Impactors and current clients staying with me. I am not stopping just changing, evolving, adapting and then...will overcome. I will reach out to all of you over the next couple of days. I know you will have questions and I have the answers. There is no reason why we can not only make this work but excel and grow stronger. Forward TOGETHER Stronger TOGETHER %
