25.01.2022 Appreciation Post! . This kid here has grown up so much in the past few weeks since his brother left for Kapooka! Taking on household tasks without complaining helping me with deliveries and packaging cookies. .... He never uses his disability as an excuse to get out of chores or to not help when asked. . Yesterday we ended up having a box and a half of fairy bread cookies leftover usually he would devour these himself! . But he decided we should leave them on somebodies doorstep that needed cheering up! He decided where we should drop them and the message on the card! The card read: Let’s face it 2020 has been Shit! Enjoy some treats on us! . He has such a big heart and loves to give to others as people have done for him :) . Makes all the hardwork of parenting so worth it when you watch them grow into such caring young men See more

24.01.2022 Sometimes the little things mean the most! And receiving messages like this mean everything.... . . . Hi there, my name is Ash and I’m the commanding officer of HMAS Bathurst - I’m sorry for the delay in writing this message but I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the amazing cookies. The crew loved them, they look so amazing and certainly made us feel special. Being away from family and home at this time of year is difficult but small things like this definitely put a ...smile on the whole ship. Thank you again and all the best for the new year. 24.01.2022 After such a challenging year in 2020 this was such a surprise! The past 12 months have been difficult between having to isolate because of immune issues, diagnoses, treatments, homeschooling and cookies galore! We have taken a break whilst health gets back on track and whilst we prepare to Open our New Space and our very first Website! Thank you to my beautiful couples who nominated my small biz it means a lot to me as I put in my heart and soul into this and do it mostly by myself:) This year we will be a little more structured and will be doing some things that are uniquely ours xx

19.01.2022 So many messages in regards to Valentines Day.... . I don’t celebrate Valentines Day I’ve never been a fan and for the past 6ish years I have worked as a florist which has meant a really busy time and that I have missed celebrating my Birthday which is on the 13th! . This year however will be my first year of not working as a florist and due to our new space not being quite ready and me wanting to celebrate my birthday with my family I will not be baking for Valentines Day.... I’m not going to apologise for this as I said I don’t like Valentines Day... However checkout other local registered businesses like @foodatyours @cakesbyamyrutherford @kathryns_cakes_ @nicscupcakeplace @belsbaking @marshello_cakes As I have no doubt they will have some delicious treats you can snap up to share xx . Thank you for your continued support xx See more

18.01.2022 Found theses shining beauties in my mailbox when I returned home from a few days away.. . I want to again thank everyone who has supported me since starting this venture. These ladies will be a constant reminder to me on the tough days to keep going and to persevere. . Winning these serves as a reminder to me that through the head talk of my anxiety and the pain of my SCI that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and surround yourself with the right people.... . Thanks again to Peace and Katy @ausmumpreneur it seriously is more than a couple of trophies to me it’s a reminder that I can do it and show others they can too! See more

16.01.2022 If you only follow one account today please make it this one I guarantee you won’t regret it!!!! #Repost @vinspirationfoundation with @get_repost Where it started Vs How it’s going. People love Vinny for her dedication and resilience to her training. Her no filter way of life. She is just an all round inspiration and you ‘The People’ gave her the nickname Vinspiration. Something about Vinny is, she loves helping people. When she is at school she is the first to voluntee...r with pushing wheelchairs, getting lunches out and carrying things to car. Even when we are in public she always tells me we need to help people. A few months ago Vinny asked me if she could work for me or make coffees and sell them to donate money to charities and then we came up with the Vinspiration line. Well, here is the first of a few tops we will be releasing over the next week. These and many more will be available for purchase next Thursday 14th. Over the next few days we will continue to show more of the tops / merchandise we have lined up. Tag a friend that would rock this top. #vinspiration #helpingothers #whoneedit #vinnysteam See more

15.01.2022 When women support each other incredible things happen. There’s a famous African proverb that says ‘If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go t...ogether.’ My first business failed - I had the vision, the creativity, the passion, the ambition, I was prepared to hustle and work day and night but without the connections I needed for manufacturers who understood quality or retail stores who would answer my calls this business was doomed to fail. As an entrepreneur in regional Australia I felt isolated and alone, where were my people? My first business failed but it was the key to my eventual success because I realised that the lack of connection that I’d faced was something women everywhere were experiencing too. So with the help of my sister Katy, we created a new business together. We wanted a place where women would would always feel welcome, included and supported and a place where you would find the connections you need to succeed. If you needed an accountant, a graphic designer, the contact for the buying agent at Woolworths or David Jones, this would be the place to find them. A community where the more experienced entrepreneurs mentored and supported the next generation of women starting out. This is our vision for The Women’s Business School. Over the last 10 years we’ve helped connect thousands of Australian business women to the experiences, opportunities and connections that have helped make their businesses so successful. We’ve created a Connection Economy where the better connected you are the more value you create and experience and so do every one of your connections. We rise by lifting others and together we are so much more powerful than alone. As our connections grow the collective value grows exponentially. Today we’ve gone so much further than my first business ever did because we’ve had the support of incredible women to guide us and walk beside us every step of the way. #WeRiseByLiftingOthers

05.01.2022 October is Pregnancy and Infant loss awareness month! . I am 1 in 4 . I’ve had 7 pregnancies in total including one set of twins!... My first miscarriage happened when I was halfway through my English HSC exam. Not many people know this! I was young embarrassed and didn’t have anyone at the time that I thought would understand other than my partner. . I went on to have an early miscarriage again at 19 believed to be a twin pregnancy due to the hormone levels. . At 21 our precious daughter Kelsey’s heart stopped at 22weeks and I was broken wondering what I had done wrong? . At 23 my rainbow baby Trace arrived early at 33 weeks unwell but alive now 21 and my biggest blessing. . At 24 pregnant again with twins I miscarried Cordell at 19 weeks and held on for dear life to keep his sister alive. Codee was born at 26 weeks weighing a teeny 960grams she has Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia and is now 20 . I still longed for 1 more we always said we would have 6 . We tried a year after she was born and had a very early miscarriage and we decided our family was complete! . As fate had it 5 years later we gave birth to our little Rooster at 31 weeks he had a regurgitation if his mitral valve, adult BP, Renal Stenosis and later diagnosed with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy. . Pregnancy was tough I bled throughout them all had severe all day sickness spent many weeks in hospital on bed rest had 3 emergency caesareans but I wouldn’t change a thing! . What I would change if I could was the feelings that I was alone shutting people out including my partner at times and not talking about it! I shut out my partners feelings too! I forgot that I wasn’t the only one going through it and that they needed the support just as much! . We celebrate their birthdays I fantasise about who they would be like! What life would of been like with them in it and I talk about it! . So if you’re a Mumma & Papa going through this now please know you are not alone it’s healthy to grieve and also healthy to celebrate! See more
