22.01.2022 Some very happy news with the safe arrival of Elsie Sage Edwards. Born on the 23rd of September at 1:20am 3.630kg (8 pounds) - 52cm long..! Congratulations to Rachael, Eddie, Lenny and the extended Edwards and Mobbs clans.

22.01.2022 We have some wonderful news to share with a new arrival for Simone and Luke. Ned Lucas Harrowfield arrived safely on Friday night 10.35pm weighing 3.73kgs. Another little footballer to follow in dads footsteps. Congratulations guys and enjoy the little fella. They grow up quickly.

20.01.2022 Well, after a couple months of COVID uncertainty it looks like local footy is BACK ON ! To say we are excited is an understatement, and we were woken out of our slumber last night by Jonny Boris arriving to training tooting his horn in blaze of excitement. While there are still a few issues to be worked out (and a heap of work to be done), and as we know things change quickly at the moment, it looks certain that most RMFL clubs will be able to scrounge together five sides s...o we can play out a shortened season. The senior lads have been back at training for a couple weeks now and while they really appreciated the opportunity to get out and run around together, there was a real buzz around last night knowing its looking like they can finally play! In even better news, Marty Mattner has offered to help out Imps this season to work as a mentor and assistant to the senior and junior coaches. Along with Scotti McMahon, we now have two coaches with AFL playing experience at the club which is an incredible opportunity for all our senior and junior players and up and coming coaches. Looks like everything is looking up and we will keep in touch with more news on the opening of the Clubrooms on Thursday nights and the new proposed RMFL draw which will include finals. Dont forget to tune into the 100 Club draw tonight with Snelly, who has been doing a great job keeping a bit of interest around the place. Yahoo - Go You Blues.

19.01.2022 WAIT RETURNS Tyson Wait, one of the greatest and most respected recruits of recent years (Luke Harrowfields own words) returns to the club this week to play his 100 League game. With the cancellation of his home league due to the COVID emergency, there was an opportunity to go back to old times and let the champion have another run around with the club. Apparently just as fit as previous years, but a tad more streamlined on top, Tyson will be a great mentor down back for the young kids and it will be good for him to play with a couple of the lads he coached in juniors. Welcome back Tyson and congratulations on 100 games.

16.01.2022 CLARKE NAMED CAPTAIN FOR 2020 With RMFL football starting next weekend, the club has named Imperial strongman James Clarke, League Captain again for 2020. James has been an outstanding leader over the years and continued to train and encourage the playing group over all the ongoing COVID uncertainty. The positivity and enthusiasm James displayed has shown the players, and more importantly the Imperial Committee, the importance of the mateship and support that our game provid...es our young men, and ensured the committee did everything possible to get back on the park this year for the players. Our Leadership team for 2020 is: League Captain: James Clarke League Vice Captain: Lui DeMichelle Reserves Captain: Tom Hines Reserves Vice Captain: Brock Reu Leadership group: Luke Harrowfield Garreth Williams Nathan Daish Jonny Boras Clint DeMichelle James McLaren

16.01.2022 Sam Mobbs to play 200 senior games and Dylan Hollitt to play 100 league games Saturday This Saturday, in the League Grand Final against Jervois, Sam Mobbs will play his 200th senior game for the club. Tough and always hard at the ball, Sam played a big role in the 2018 Premiership against Mannum and the club will be looking for a similar performance this week. Sam is a genuine nice guy, super honest and loyal Imperial player who has served the club for many years. We wish ...him all the best in Saturdays game. Congratulations on your 200th game Sam and we look forward to your Life Membership being awarded at this year’s Presentation Night. Dylan Hollitts form has been outstanding this year, particularly at the pointy end of the season, and Imps resurgence in the last couple games has largely been due Dylans tough attack on the ball and brilliant ball winning skills. Another loyal player and product of Imperials junior program, Dylan plays his 100-league game this Saturday. Congratulations on your 100th league game Dylan and good luck Saturday!

16.01.2022 Its wonderful to announce that Kara and James McLaren have welcomed a beautiful baby girl to the world - Neve Monica McLaren. All the best from the whole Imps family as you settle into parenthood.

05.01.2022 ASH TEMBY TO BREAK RMFL GAMES RECORD Imperial legend and evergreen Ash Temby is set to break the RMFL game record of 428 senior games this week against Mypolonga at Johnston Park. Fittingly, Ash breaks the record against Mypo where he started his playing career (97 league and 10 reserves) before moving to Imperials. Fair, hardworking, loyal and courageous, Ash is everything a club could want in a player. Revered for his high work rates, the extremely fair way he has always gone about playing the game along with everything else he does around the club, Ash is an Imperial and RMFL legend. Well done Ash and congratulations on an outstanding career.

04.01.2022 Here the proposed draw for 2020. We will add to it as things evolve. Start times for all grades (U13 and up) will be slightly different from previous years and we will update the information as soon as we have it. At this stage it is 5 grades to play on a Saturday - U13, U15, U17, Reserves and League. Netball is having a year off.

02.01.2022 Tom Hines to play 200 games. This weekend marks a magnificent milestone for one of Imps most loyal and enduring players, Tommy Hines. Tommy has played 92 League games and with his Reserves appearance this week, he will reach 200 combined senior games qualifying him for Life membership of the Imperial Football Club. Slight in frame but big in heart, Tommy is a silky backman who reads the play well and has an exceptional kick. Chilled in nature, his two gorgeous young daughters keep him pretty busy, but he has been able to continue playing this year to knock up 200 games. Well done Tommy and all the best for Saturday
