NO PROBLEM! /// Waterside locations often pose unique challenges when it comes to construction and this was no different for our valued client Doctor Kourosh Tavakoli’s $10M waterfront refurbishment project. Located in blue-ribbon suburb of Darling Point the difficult access and steep sloping block made it impossible to get a normal land based crane installed to commence works. Although presented with numerous construction challenges which had the potential to ...impact the design, the team opted for a floating crane barge to carry machinery and materials to site instead... Because at Impero Constructions we never let a challenge get in the way of construction! 06.01.2022 BACK TO SCHOOL /// You know that car commercial? The one where the Dad hands over the keys to his 7-year-old daughter? At least she looks like she’s 7 through her father’s eyes, but in fact she’s really 17. I feel like that Dad today! It was my middle born’s first day of kindergarten today, and I’m not even sure how that’s really possible. There’s no way that backpack can fit on my baby’s shoulders. She can’t possibly stride that confidently up the steps when only yesterday ...she was learning to crawl! As I found myself walking hand-in-hand with my daughter in her brand new uniform, towards the school’s gate I realised there is something so momentous, so resonant about watching your child take their first step on a ladder that’s so familiar to all of us! Today marks the start of the rest of her life. A life which will see her grow, learn, and develop her own opinions. A life which will inevitably mean she won’t need me quite as much any more. I didn’t think I would be so emotional today but I must admit the sunglasses were out to hide those teary eyes! How did all the other mums and dads go today? #TheImperoFamily
