23.01.2022 The love boat. David tasked us with finding him a mint, low km Evo III over a year and a half ago when the 25 year rule was just a dream we were praying would pass parliament. One owner, 30k on the clock. Verified, with service records. Just a beautiful example of a rare beast that we are not unhappy to be taking care of right now! ... We kept this car safe at our Japan HQ for more than a year before it became eligible in May this year. Then the wait for an import approval, then the wait for a container. Today we fitted up the OZ racing wheels in perfect specs he hunted high and low for on Yahoo and had completely refurbished. The stockies will be wrapped up and kept safe and sound. Due to the varied nature of our business, certain aspects will continue as normal while others will be interrupted. The good -... Our Japan operations are not impacted at all. Containers and vehicles will still ship as normal. Orders will still ship via air and surface mail. Yahoo auctions service continues as usual! Online sales will continue uninterrupted - we are permitted to attend work for the purposes of fulfilling online orders. So your Yahoo purchases, purchases of goods through our website etc are all unaffected. Whether coming ex Japan, or from our Melbourne warehouse we will continue to ship out as usual. Mechanical works are still permitted. You may be unable to travel due to the stage 4 lockdown limiting how far you can travel from home. Please contact us to discuss how we can assist to keep your car safe and on the road during stage 4. 06.01.2022 Import Monster vs COVID19 vs Stage 4 restrictions. Firstly we are trading, nearly as usual. With some small modifications. 1 - Sales and orders from both our Japan and Melbourne facilities are still full steam ahead.... 2 - Our containers are still coming and goods shipping out. 3 - The workshop is still open and taking bookings for servicing, repairs and maintenance that are required to keep your car running and/or safe for road use. So what has changed, you may ask? In a nutshell - you cant come in. Our front door is locked and will remain so for as long as were instructed to do so. Our waiting area is now closed and will remain so for as long as the rules state that we cant have you on site. Pickups are now very strictly by appointment only and will be contactless. They must be paid for in full prior to pickup, we will have no provision for contactless payments onsite. We thrive on our interactions, the meeting and greeting and laughs we have with you guys. So this is really hard for us to do. But, we are determined to do our part and we are just thankful to still be able to operate in this modified way. We will not be bending the rules Right now theres a huge amount of people doing it way harder than we are and we want to get through to the other side for them. So their loved ones dont get sick, end up in hospital or worse. So they can get back to work, back to their businesses, back to their families and friends. Back to Tinder.
