25.01.2022 UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT Well we are running a little bit behind schedule, but the news is here. LEE LESTER is retiring to pursue other interests and handing over the reins to LEO COPPENS as of today.... 24.01.2022 FOR SALE $23000 as is, $25000 licensed 1965 Impala 4 door hardtop LHD Originally a Californian car but found abandoned in Nevada. She had a little rust but we have replaced and repaired it all. Boot floor, front right side floor and small patches under the left rear seat and around the front screen and rear boot/deck lid rubber seal.... We have put in a refreshed 283 with a rebuilt Rochester carburettor, recon Powerglide and power steering pump, new rag joint, master cylinder and brake hoses. We had the original radiator rebuilt and made new trans cooler lines. We have rebuilt the tailshaft with a new universal joint and rebuilt both the complete front and rear suspension. We removed it all, sandblasted and painted all the arms and fitted new bushes and ball joints. She has the original hub caps on 14s near new white wall tyres. The interior has new carpet, headliner and the seats were retrimmed with the original pattern cloth that we imported from the USA. We installed a new dash pad and replaced the original dash speaker with a NOS one. The door trims are original and in really good shape for being 54 years old. There not perfect but about a 7/10. The paint is original, whats left of it, and has been treated so as not to deteriorate any further. The original color, which can still be seen in places is Evening Orchid, a mauve light purple color We have replaced all door and window rubber seals and channels We have replaced the front and rear emblems and fitted new or near new tail light lenses inc the last NOS Aussie amber kens known to exist There are a few minor things to fix up before we get it registered, wipers, lights a tailpipe and a front end alignment.
