CAIRNS Imprint Care is looking for passionate individuals to provide quality support and help make a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities. We are looking for dynamic Support Workers that and have experience within the home care environment. There are a variety of shifts available and we are looking for someone who is passionate and dependable to start as soon as possible. The role will consist of the following. Social and community access within the home environment and out in the community. Assisting with Personal care, Domestic duties and manual handling. Help support clients to achieve their individual goals. Assist clients with many aspects of life. You will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills, have experience interacting with a diverse range of Clientele. Selection Criteria: Must have: - First Aid & CPR - Police Check - Blue card & Yellow card - Driver’s license - Own vehicle that is Roadworthy and Registered and fully Insured. Experience and Training on Hoists, Catheter, Manual Handling, Medication training, Epilepsy with Madazalom administration, PEG feeding and Mental Health would be beneficial however not essential. Experience is desirable, however not essential- Cert III in community services, Disability Services or Individual Support must be completed or in the process of enrolling. Personal attributes and life experience with being a career can be just as valuable in this industry as work experience.
