This last week we've been helping a client out who had money moved through online banking and had lost about $20,000 of money to fraudulent accounts without their knowledge. On inspection they had next to no security in place apart from some free bits and pieces of Antivirus and other software. Completing a security audit, we found 1 out of 5 computers infected with spyware and 3 of the other 4 had Malware. One even had a Crypto locker, which by some chance was dormant. We've clean the system out and recommended changes. 08.01.2022 Just provisioned a brand new ADSL 2+ for a client in Robina. We've achieved some great speed with some solid equipment. Cisco ADSL router and a ubiquiti access point. Basically the best speeds you can get are 20 down and 1 up. Around the coast the most I've seen is 9 down and 0.7 up.
