01.01.2022 COVID 19 Update Our COVID-19 testing centre at the back of our Inala Centre of Excellence clinic is running smoothly, and we want to thank the community for their active participation by showing up and getting tested we’ve had a large turnout. As you may have heard, we have identified new cases within the community. It’s more important than ever to remain calm and stay informed. To support, a list of locations where COVID confirmed cases have visited are listed here. Please... help our contact tracing team by sharing this information with friends and family. If you have any COVID symptoms, not matter how minor, it’s important you tested and remain at home until you receive your test results. This means you cannot attend any public area, including work, cafes, restaurants and so forth. By doing this, you’ll play your part in helping to reduce the spread of the virus and will keep our community safe. Remember Coronavirus (COVID-19) affects people differently and common symptoms include fever or history of fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, fatigue, loss of smell and/or loss of taste. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, call your doctor or 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84) and get tested. To find your local testing centre, visit https://www.qld.gov.au//stay-inf/testing-and-fever-clinics. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and remind you that at our clinic, our staff will now be wearing face masks, this is a precautionary measure to keep both ourselves, you and your family safe. In the interim, don’t forget: Stay home if you are sick Wash your hands regularly Stay 1.5 metres away from other people (think two big steps). Sneeze and cough into your arm or a tissue, and practice hand hygiene afterwards. Do not shake hands Regularly disinfect surfaces in your home Limit food handling and sharing of food. Stay safe and informed! The Inala Centre of Excellence Team
