23.01.2022 Incat Crowther 24 Tiwi Mantawi is one of a series of Incat Crowther 24s exhibiting class-leading efficiency, versatility and robustness. Built as Freedom Sovereign and redeployed to Darwin with a new name, the vessel has proven to be very versatile. On the new operation it services remote areas and makes use of its on-board telescopic bow ramp. This ramp can operate at a variety of angles and extensions facilitating beach landing, and allows the operator to transfer passengers in locations with little to no shore side infrastructure. 20.01.2022 Throughout this time, shipyards have mostly remained busy, with existing projects at various stages. Incat Crowther have 74 ships currently under construction across 29 shipyards. Upon completion a number of new build slots are expected to become available from late 2020 through 2021. Currently operators are taking the opportunity to consider their future fleet configurations. 14.01.2022 The new 'Kitty Cats' for Brisbane are nearly completed, with an additional vessel added to the fleet to bring the total to five. 08.01.2022 The submersible for use on Shadow Cat HODOR has been delivered. The 3-Person Aurora submersible features a large acrylic cabin with a 1000m depth rating, providing underwater exploration capability for the owner. This video shows the unrehearsed first-time effort of using the ships beam crane to hoist the submersible on board and position it into the storage garage on air casters. 03.01.2022 Incat Crowther 41 Royal Falcon One was launched late last year. This unique design features a luxurious fit-out for up to 10 guests. There is a full-beam master suite located on the upper deck together with a VIP suite and three additional staterooms on the main deck. As many as 10 crew members can sleep on board in cabins located within the catamarans two hulls. Naval architecture, systems engineering and construction oversight were provided by Incat Crowther.
