19.01.2022 Getting ready to host a local bookkeeper and accountant meeting.. the morning preparation.

19.01.2022 Excited to be here at #nacglobaltour currently listening to Grant Cardone speak. Hoping to come out of this leaning something I can implement in both my business and my life.

18.01.2022 Look at this advertising from the 70s aimed at single and married women to take up a bookkeeping profession and how they can work easily from their kitchen table. I remember starting out in the profession over 18 years ago and even in that time I have seen so many changes to the industry and to the technology used.

18.01.2022 New business cards with our new logo

16.01.2022 Be careful what you are claiming! For more than a decade a tax agent (who has now lost his licence) claimed personal deductions on behalf of their client. The client claimed things like: - Paying his son over $5k to occasionally run up stairs to grab the phone when it rang and bring it down to him - Family pets as watchdogs... - School fees as "training and conference expenses" - Dora the Explorer pencil case as "office expense" - Industrial quantities of snack food like Bega string cheese, cheese in a can and weight watchers lamingtons as "client refreshments" Remember, if an expense is not strictly business related you can't claim it in your tax return!

15.01.2022 ahh yes, taxes..

15.01.2022 Finally home after a long day in the city at the #nacglobaltour national achievers conference. What a day, great content and great speakers like Gary V, Grant & Elena Cardone, Kerwin Rae and more! Came away with a lot strategies to implement into my business.

14.01.2022 It's time for us to take a break and spend some time with our friends and family <3 Our office will be closed from COB December 20 and will re-open on January 6, 2020! Have a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Years.

13.01.2022 It's Fri"yay"!! Hope you are all enjoying your last day before the weekend!

10.01.2022 Run a business providing cleaning or courier services and pay contractors to carry out this work? Youll need to lodge your first Taxable payments annual report... (TPAR) by 28 August 2019. Make sure youre recording the right info for each contractor, including: name address ABN amount paid. Check out the fact sheet, short videos and worksheet to help you get ready to report at www.ato.gov.au//Taxable-payments-ann/Resources-to-help-you

09.01.2022 Single Touch Payroll is law for all employers from 1 July 2019. Are you STP ready?

06.01.2022 I love the school initiative of buddy benches, allowing kids that dont have anyone to play with find some friends. @rusepublicschool

04.01.2022 No boundaries in this office!

02.01.2022 Specialising in the construction industry we continually come across companies paying labour based workers as contractors. We get every excuse under the sun from "we pay them a higher rate so we don't have to pay their super", to "they refuse to work unless as a contractor" or even the excuse that is "just the way the industry works". This is an unlawful practice that means the company is avoiding their obligations. FairWork are cracking down on this and with current reportin...g requirements and data matching you are likely to get caught resulting in huge back pay and fines. Having an ABN does not make a worker a contractor! Make sure you are doing the right thing and getting the right advice.

01.01.2022 Seems accurate!
