10.01.2022 I started this business in the middle of a pandemic (with a toddler!), as I felt that people with disability, illness and/or injury lacked access to best practice rehabilitation counselling services in South East QLD, particularly NDIS and Lifetime Care participants. I am delighted to say that one of my younger participants has successfully obtained employment, with multiple offers with large national organisations!! I offer best practice rehabilitation counselling services t...o assist people to achieve their employment/occupational related goals including: An individualised and customised approach Resumes relevant to the major vocational themes Strong coaching and guidance on how to disclose a disability or health condition in online applications and throughout the recruitment process Liaising with HR departments of organisations to ensure that accommodations and adjustments are made to the recruitment and induction process if required A capacity building approach where the participant and their families are empowered with the tools and resources to undertake jobsearch and are able to reflect on the process, apply improvements where needed and maintain resilient.
