22.01.2022 Can leaders who are serious about getting the best out of themselves and their people afford to wait for HR to give them 'permission' to become better leaders by being more inclusive? No-one 'owns' diversity and inclusion - but everyone is responsible for it. If you work in the corporate world, I would love know if you think that D&I is 'owned' by the HR function.... 12.01.2022 Welcome to ‘in-clusion’! After having spent the last 20+ years in corporate Australia, I’ve witnessed first-hand the time and resources invested in developing managers to become successful leaders with varying degrees of success. Successful leaders aren’t born, they develop - little by little, day by day. ... Along the way to success, managers need guidance, support and resources to be able to better understand themselves and get the best out of their people. Above all else, managers need to develop their ability to be inclusive of all sorts of people, opportunities and situations. This is what inspired me to create ‘in-clusion’ an idea that I have been nurturing for years! A space where I can share what I have learned to help others be the best that they can be. A space that provides resources to middle managers to grow into the leaders of tomorrow. Diversity is a fact of life we are all different in one way or another. Inclusion is a choice that we all make every day. A choice that has a very real impact on the people around us. I will be launching the ‘in-clusion’ website and offerings very soon, but in the meantime, I wanted to start the conversation here and invite you to join me.
