22.01.2022 JOB OPPORTUNITY Casual staff wanted. We are currently seeking an individual to work within the disability sector in the Wollongong/Illawarra area. ... The role of a support worker will see you on the front-line providing daily support to individuals with disabilities. You will also play an important role in supporting and empowering people with a disability to live independent in the community and to achieve their goals. Key responsibilities: - Assistance with clients daily living (including personal care) - Participation in activities of daily living - Assisting clients with community access and transport - Following individual support plans and behaviour support plans where required - Documentation and progress note keeping Skills and experience: - Preferably, experience working with people who have disabilities - Drivers licence - First aid certificate - Working with children check - Ability to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster - Ability to maintain service user privacy and confidentiality Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and working with children check. It has been a long process and all of Kylie’s supports have worked together to make this happen. 09.01.2022 It has been a while since Kylie has been back in the ceramic studio. Today Kylie is finishing off her next project! It looks absolutely amazing! Great job Kylie

09.01.2022 Each month, I would like to organise some awesome social group outings. At this stage there isn’t any social outings organised, however I have listed some activities below- so can you please let me know if you would like to participate in any of them. If you could please get back to me before the end of August with what activity you would like to participate in, that would be great. These social outings will start in September 2020. - Saturday night bowling at Shellharbour ... - Friday night putt putt at Holey Moley in Wollongong - Ceramic and pottery sessions- this can either be a Wednesday night or Saturday morning. - Movie and dinner night out- Friday night or weekend - Go karts at Albion park- Weekend - Indoor skating, rock climbing at Wollongong- Friday night and weekend. - Symbio wildlife park- on a weekend Please note that you don't need to be a signed Inclusively Different client to attend these events, however you still need to have an NDIS Plan and be plan managed or self managed. These activities are also open to people who live outside of the Wollongong and Illawarra area. Inclusively Different also has a newsletter sent out every month so if you would like to receive one to keep up to date with all the fun and exciting things please drop your email below and i will send you one.
