19.01.2022 The second lockdown we're experiencing in Victoria may feel tougher to cope with as we stay home, apart and safe. For some, we're adjusting to COVID-normal life as best as we can. For others, this will take a toll on our mental health particularly if we were already struggling. These feelings are valid as we deal with the challenges of adjusting to novel ways of living, working, learning and socialising.... Take heart knowing that your efforts to social distance, adhere to lockdown restrictions and care for the most important resource your health and that of our loved ones can and will make a difference. Your current behaviour affects the lives of every person and doing the right thing today will get us one step closer to 'normal', tomorrow. We want you to know that we care and we’re doing our very best to serve you during this time. Reach out if there is anything we can help with or if you have questions. We may not have all the answers, but we will do our best to direct you to where you can get help. If you or someone you know is going through a tough time, here's a link to additional resources https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus See more

02.01.2022 We had an amazing time with Lani Masuku as she shared her personal journey of building Organic Suku. Her key message was #resilience. Despite personal setbacks and many false starts, her passion and motivation to solve her customers' problems kept her going. While the road to having a successful online brand has been long, she wouldn't trade it for all the growth, business acumen and rewards she's experienced by taking charge of her own future. We've summarised key takeaway...s from her session, available for replay here: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CBSgEjKpCjF/ While you're at it, check out some lovingly made products for your hair care routine here: https://organicsuku.com/ If you'd like to learn more about building a business model, check out this resource from our resident Entrepreneurship Facilitator Isaac Jeffries: https://isaacjeffries.com//free-ebook-building-a-strong-bu #guestmentorseries #buildyourempire #supportblackbusinessses See more
