24.01.2022 Presents wrapped and placed; 2019 @tiffanyandco ornament hung, everyone in their new Christmas Eve Pyjamas, treats out for Santa & the reindeer and now I can have a quiet moment with a cuppa. This is quite possibly my favourite part of Christmas - that quiet time in the middle of the night, when most of the hard work is done, where I can take a minute to enjoy my tree, taking a walk down memory lane with each of my special ornaments (collected around the world every year sin...ce 1998) and to prepare for the excitement and craziness to come in just a few hours, when it is all literally undone in matter of minutes. But thats ok because my boys love it and I simply adore the way their faces light up when I turn on the tree lights for the first time each year and the pure joy and excitement they have when the present go under the the tree each Christmas Eve.
