We are truly grateful for the support that you have all shown us over the past 12 years. We feel privileged to have been the people you turn to to learn personal safety strategies. 17.01.2022 In light of this pandemic, may I ask that any students that are feeling ill, or just getting over an illness, refrain from training this Saturday? Please wash your hands thoroughly and use the supplied hand sanitiser if need be. This applies to the parents of the kids in my class as well. If they, or anyone in your household has symptoms, it’s best to stay home, watch Netflix and enjoy your extra rolls of toilet paper.

07.01.2022 Many of you have been asking for some kind of 'marker' to know what level you're at. No-Gi BJJ doesn't really have a grading system, and with a one day a week training schedule, although you're skillset far surpasses it, it's been hard to evaluate fairly. But, I've decided to offer a system that will motivate those of you who are eager to get ot the next level, or just need that kick in the butt to master the 'basics'. So, as of our first February class 2020, I will be prov...iding goals and incentives to reach those goals. Kids may focus and train for stickers, but most adults grow bored after the third or fourth sticker ;) The first term will mostly be about evaluating the level you're at, and then building you up from there. Everyone will get a 'white belt' keychain and I'll add stripes (4 for each belt), if required, at the end of each term. But don't forget, earning promotions in BJJ takes a lot of work and time. It took me 12 years to earn a black belt training three to five days a week. Don't be too hard on yourself and lower your expectations. I'll provide valuable feedback along your journey, and offer suggestions for improvement. Any questions prior please contact me See you at the free class on 11 January. No Gi. No Ego. Jimmy
