14.01.2022 POSTPONED - T20 WORLD CUP 2020 - ICC OFFER TO WA INDIAN DOCS STILL STANDS! Dear All, As you may already be aware the 2020 T20 Cricket World Cup has been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. WA Indian Docs and its members and families had purchased a total of close to 500 Category A tickets - an entire bay at Optus Stadium. At this stage, it is possible that Australia may still host the T20 World Cup in 2021. This depends upon the final allocation of the consecutive... T20 World Cups to Australia and Indian in 2021 and 2022. If the event is staged in Australia in 2021, then the current tickets may still be valid. If the event shifts to the 2022 slot, then ICC will issue full cancellations to all individuals and groups who have purchased tickets. At this stage, we would still request you to hold on and retain your tickets as we are still praying for the pandemic to be over and so that one fine day 500 of us could watch the game together at Optus. We encourage you to retain your tickets until the new event dates are confirmed. If you wish to request a refund prior to confirmation of the new dates, then you can do so by visiting https://tickets.t20worldcup.com for information regarding the refund process. The link to the media release distributed to Australian media is here: https://www.t20worldcup.com/media-releases/1733558. Within it is more information about ticketing and a link to the ICC's global media release. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us or the ICC. Best Wishes, WA Indian Docs
