18.01.2022 Happy Dragon Boat Festival Day. Indian Ocean crew celebrated by having a delightful paddle on the Swan River in what was perfect flat water conditions. The Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu Festival, Dunw Jié, Double Fifth, Tuen Ng Jit) is a traditional holiday that commemorates the life and death of the famous Chinese scholar Qu Yuan (Chu Yuan). The festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month on the Chinese lunisolar calendar. https://youtu.be/T1WQ90F4HlI... Come down and enjoy the sport of Dragon Boating. We are a social club that prides itself on family like bonds with its members and visitors through the enjoyable sport of paddling.
