15.01.2022 March 16th 2018, another successful head frame swap. 2 headframes down, 1 up. For this one, we had a bold plan - we built the headframe 100% offsite as usual, but this time we pre-terminated the hybrid fibre cables and transported the entire rig as one - fibres and all - to site, lifting it in one move. Was a huge success and well worth the punt that it would work. Site was back on air including new LTE technologies in one (long) day. #TeamIndicomms

10.01.2022 As some of you are probably aware, we have already been heavily involved in the installation of 5G technology, specifically the addition of the Nokia Airscale across many site is South East QLD and in the last 6 months, the addition 3.6GHz, both to support the Optus Network. We are closely following the developments associated with the 5th Generation of wireless technology. True 5th Generation Infrastructure and Technology is remarkably different from any preceding technolo...gy and must be in order to achieve the required low latency levels and massive increase in capacity as determined by the IMT-2020 standard.
