25.01.2022 UPDATE FRIDAY 5 FEB: PDAs at our Welshpool centre in Perth will re-commence from tomorrow, Saturday 6 February. Tests for other metro centres as well as the Pee...l and South West regions will start again on Monday 8 February. This includes motorbike tests. If your test was cancelled, you can rebook using the online booking system. The good news is we do have significant availability for PDAs in the coming weeks. Remember to wear a mask when visiting a centre in Perth or Peel for your PDA to comply with current regulations. If you are feeling unwell, you must not attend a centre. Please call us to reschedule your test. Keep an eye on our social media to stay up to date or visit our website transport.wa.gov.au/COVID-19 COVID-19 UPDATE: PDAs for the Perth, Peel and South West regions will not take place from Monday 1 February to Sunday 7 February due to the mandatory lockdown. This includes motorbike tests. Your test will be cancelled, and you will have to rebook from Monday 8 February using the online booking system.

18.01.2022 Based on the announcement today, Indi Drive will not be conducting any driving lessons for the next 5 days. If you have a driving test tomorrow please contact your instructor directly as we have no idea at this stage whether the department of transport will be conducting driving tests this week. We will have an update at 7:05am tomorrow morning when the first tests are scheduled to be conducted. We will try our best to reschedule this weeks driving lessons to next week, pending any updates from the WA government.

17.01.2022 Take the pain out of reverse parallel parking. Here is our 4 step process to help you park like a pro: 1. Signal left and pull over next to the car you want to park behind (about 50cm away). Check your surroundings before reversing 2. Start to roll back and full lock to left until you are on a 45 degree angle... 3. Straighten your wheel and come back until your right rear tyre is just about touching the outside edge of your bay 4. Full lock right until your car is parallel to the road. Straighten wheel You can adjust your park if you are not happy. On a driving test you can have 3 attempts before loosing any points. 06.01.2022 One death on WA roads is one death too many. During National Road Safety Week this week, I encourage Western Australians to take a moment to reflect on the ways... we can make our roads safer for everyone. Our Government has invested billions of dollars in projects that lead to greater safety on our roads, including upgrading roads, fixing notorious black spots, expanding principal shared pathways for cyclists and upgrades along the notorious Indian Ocean Drive. Through our Regional Road Safety Program, we’ve been able to target and upgrade some of the most dangerous sections of road right across our State. But our investment goes further than infrastructure projects. In 2017, we introduced minimum safe passing laws on WA roads, ensuring the safe sharing of roads by drivers and cyclists along small and major roads and delivering a major election commitment. Similarly, our tough new penalties for mobile phone use while driving came into effect earlier this year, creating a new aggravated offence for drivers caught texting or emailing, using social media, watching videos or accessing the internet. Our Government is continuing to deliver on road safety commitments across WA, and ensuring drivers, cyclists and pedestrians alike can come home safe every day.
