22.01.2022 Today we celebrated #indiemane turning ONE . We won’t lie, we were a little emotional this morning, this year has truly tested us. No doubt as any new business owner would know, you always have your doubts on whether you will succeed or fail miserably. I mean we planned .... months and months went into writing out a business plan, budgeting, forecasting what we believed we could achieve, pretty much everything you could think of ...... { except a world wide pandemic that is... } . If you had told us that within 6 months of opening we would be forced to shut the salon for a month and then reduce our hours for another 2 months - well we would of definitely threw the towel in on the whole idea! . But instead today, here we are! We are celebrating ONE year of Indie Mane and we are feeling beyond grateful and blessed . To our dear clients, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! Let’s face it, without YOU, there would be no US. The support we have received from both our existing clients { that continue to follow us and support us always } to our new clients has been overwhelming. 02.01.2022 Hey clients, have you ever thought.... my #hairstylist didn’t take a photo of me, she must not like my hair? Or she took a photo but didn’t post it, what was wrong with the photo? . Trust us, it’s got nothing to do with you!!! There’s a few other things likely going on ... 1 WE FORGOT - We were to caught up in conversation with you as we said our goodbyes and we just totally forgot to take a pic { and now we are kicking ourselves because of it }. If we do forget, but you get a good selfie, please please share it with us by tagging @indiemane_rt 2 WE NEED A BATHROOM BREAK - yep it could be this simple. We have 5 mins before our next client and we are busting to use the bathroom plus we need to grab a quick bite to eat or just get a little fresh air. Sometimes we have to stop and listen to what our bodies need 3 BAD LIGHTING - we got the before and after pic, but didn’t post it. It’s likely that the lighting was poor or there was a hair out of place. We love showcasing our work, but sometimes are way too critical of our photos. After all we’re not photographers and sometimes just don’t nail the hair shot 4 WE MISSED IT - we sometimes take hundreds of pics a week { yep, our photo reel is FULL of hair pics } and when we finally sit down and start posting, we could of simply just missed your hair pic amongst them all.
