25.01.2022 Indie made a new Best Friend. Her name is Maggie and we have been working with her Mum's dog Lenny.

25.01.2022 Indie is so pleased to be back at school again. We received a lovely welcome and introduction to Ms Doherty's class in Pod2. We read some very interesting books and Indie had ALL the pats. We know it's going to be a wonderful year.

22.01.2022 It was so good to be back with "our kids" today. Kat showed us her essay on Convict Times plus reading three stories, Bryce was his wonderful friendly self, Alexis read with care noting punctuation AND she gave us the bookmark in the photo ( Thank you so much) and Xavier read all the way through "Fox in Sox" which is really difficult because the whole book is a tongue twister.

22.01.2022 Indie is sending Licky Monster love to all the teachers and kids who are starting back at school today. All the best, whether you are learning online or going to school. Stay healthy, and we will come and see you again once this challenging time is over.

21.01.2022 Indie says "This isolation thing is very frustrating. Border Collies need to be out and about, busy and challenged. Sitting around at home means I have to find new ways to keep occupied. In the photo I am balancing a TP roll on my back. I had to lie very still so that it didn't slide off. Mum says I was practicing my Self Control. I might have not practiced Self Control the other day. Mum had made a delicious loaf of bread. It was cooling on the bench. In the kitchen. I am not allowed in the kitchen. Somehow the loaf of bread ended up in my mouth in the living room. Most of it landed in my tummy. Mum was very cross with me and I had a long time-out in my crate. I regret nothing! It was SO delicious."

15.01.2022 Indie was very proud to wear her jacket at school today.

12.01.2022 On Thursdays Indie and I usually go to Yuille Park PC and read with the kids in Pod2. Indie loves this part of the week best of all and can't understand why we didn't go today. As a compromise, we did our own reading session with her 'sisters' and also a difficult Drop Stay exercise for a photo challenge. For those wondering, we were reading the poem "Bad Sir Brian Botany" by AAMilne. It's one of my favourites and always makes me laugh.

12.01.2022 Hello Friends! It's been a tough few weeks for everyone and Indie is working on new ways to entertain herself. This is her version of "doing the ironing". She is lying on the clean laundry in the washing basket. Although we are missing everyone at school, we will have to wait a few more weeks before we know when we can come back and visit, get ALL the pats, and listen to the Kids' reading. Meantime, take care, stay healthy and we'll see you soon.

11.01.2022 Indie says "Congratulations" to the kids graduating Yr 6 today.

10.01.2022 We listened to a very interesting talk about old tools today. John brought in antique saws, axes, pickaxes and scythes to show the kids. Indie is very interested in digging tools. She wasn't at all scared of the clapping at the finish.

07.01.2022 Indie is a little bit sad that this was our final reading day for the year. We have loved working with the Girls and Boys in Pod2, and the Teachers too. Thank you for the lovely gift and card. We are already looking forward to seeing you again next year.
