25.01.2022 Happy Harmony Day! Today is the day we celebrate diversity, respect and acceptance. General Practice Training Queensland - GPTQ is holding a Potluck Lunch for staff to share yummy dishes from their cultural heritage. What are you doing to celebrate diversity?

23.01.2022 NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to come together to celebrate the rich history, diverse Cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the oldest continuing Cultures on this earth. Each year a theme is chosen by the NAIDOC Committee to represent the values, issues or events that are important to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. This year the theme is: Always Way, Always Will Be. At GPTQ we are proud supporters... of Reconciliation and acknowledge the importance of the recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Owners of the land we live and work on. We also celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures in all their richness and diversity and are honoured each year to take part in, and support NAIDOC week events. We would like to encourage those who are able, to attend a NAIDOC event near you and show your support and pride in the history, art, music and rich traditions of Australia’s first peoples. NAIDOC events can be found by visiting the following link: https://www.naidoc.org.au/get-involved/naidoc-week-events See more
