20.01.2022 bp Australia once again offering two $5000 scholarships to Indigenous students in 2021 ENTRIES OPEN FRIDAY 15 JANUARY For the third consecutive year bp Australia will be awarding two $5,000 scholarships to the most promising Indigenous student athletes (male and female) to support both their academic and athletic endeavours. ... Scholarship recipients will also be offered mentoring and professional development opportunities from bp. This is part of bp’s ongoing partnership with UniSport Australia in 2021 bp will present the 25th Indigenous Nationals, hosted by The Wollotuka Institute at the University of Newcastle. 12.01.2022 Announcing the 2020 BP scholarship winners! We are delighted to announce that the winners of the BP Australia scholarships for the most promising Indigenous student athletes are: Stacey Markham, Wiradjuri woman studying Midwifery at Australian Catholic University (ACU)... Tyrone Mohamed, Gooreng Gooreng man studying Social Science (Psychology) at RMIT University Selected by a panel including The Wollotuka Institute, UniSport Australia and bp, these $5,000 scholarships will help support both their academic and athletic endeavours. Stacey and Tyrone will also be offered mentoring and professional development opportunities from bp Australia. As a sign of the times, the scholarships were awarded via zoom where Stacey and Tyrone chatted with Frederic Baudry, President of bp Australia and Sonia Harvey, Aboriginal Participation Advisor bp.
