25.01.2022 So many amazing entries were received for the Cicada Film Festival by environmentally aware young people. Here is just one of the many winning entries. Congratulations Charles.

22.01.2022 Lackey is back home happy and healthy Lackey is a young 2.5 year old male koala who was rescued by a research team from Detection Dogs for Conservation in September. They noticed he looked ill while out searching for koala ambassadors to join our new koala safe neighbourhood at Thornlands. He was carefully taken to Endeavour Veterinary Ecology and diagnosed with Cystitis, before being transferred to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital where their Australia Zoo Wildlife War...riors treated him for cystitis and have taken wonderful care of him for the last two months. Now that he’s all better, Lackey is back home and has become one of our newest ambassador koalas. So we’ll be able to monitor his health and movements as he settles back in at Thornlands. We're excited to see what he gets up to. He was released into trees near the intersection of Santagiuliana Parade and Manning Esplanade. So, if you are taking a walk around the area, keep an eye out for Lackey. A big thanks goes to everyone involved in Lackey’s rescue and care.
