21.01.2022 Yesterday we had a special visit from Santa, Rammy the Reindeer and Santa's Little Helper. Although Rammy did have an accident or two (poor Santa's Little Helper may have got the blame ), the joy, laughter and Christmas spirit was shared by all. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Friends of Glenview for the residents gifts, Miegels Pharmacy Rutherglen for your assistance and of course to Santa, Rammy and Santa's Little Helper for brightenings everyone's day! Many thanks to all family members who were able to join us for the afternoon, it was a great day!

20.01.2022 This week we said goodbye to Nurse Rhiannon and her dog Molly who paid us a final visit for now. Good Luck with your new adventures Rhiannon, you and Molly will be missed! We said hello to our new volunteer Yvonne Park and Sammy the Border Collie . Sammy was treated many times throughout his visit by residents! Yvonne will continue with pet therapy with residents, craft activities, happy hour activities and coming soon, the resident cooking program. Welcome to the team Yvonne we look forward to working with you!

20.01.2022 Neville Miller was passionate about getting the RJ Parkin Memorial Sign updated, so much so that he assisted with painting and supervising. We would like to extend our gratitude to Mary and Bill Kelly for organising and completing the upgrade with Neville.

17.01.2022 Melbourne Cup 2020, we have fascinators, we have bow ties (some worn in creative ways). Residents enjoyed a Melbourne Cup Quiz this morning. Chicken, Ham and Salad Luncheon followed by delectable Pavlova dessert for lunch. Even had a little drink Thanks to all the catering team, you all did a fabulous job!

13.01.2022 Thanks to the Nursing Staff for dressing up with the residents for Melbourne Cup 2020!

08.01.2022 Yesterday Glenview held a cooking competition with our Catering Manager Toni. Both ladies and gentlemen took part in the shortbread making competition, which was then enjoyed for afternoon tea. Everyone had a wonderful time, sharing stories, laughter and jokes. Needless to say, would could not pick a winner as the shortbreads were equally delicious!

07.01.2022 Residents (and staff) enjoyed some puppy love this afternoon. Thank-you Wendy and Adrian Gratham for sharing your little bundles of joy!

06.01.2022 After many requests, we held our 1st Annual Reindeer Hunt! We had laughter, we had cheering, we had enthusiasm and a touch of cheekiness Thank-you to our wonderful reindeer Ruby and Belinda !
