25.01.2022 Retro week this week with preloved items in the store, including vintage hollow stemmed champagne glasses, beautiful Waterford cut crystal glasses and a West German Scheurich red/cream/brown vase from the 1960's. It adds a bit of sparkle and colour to the store. Plus new artworks/artworks including Jacqui Henderson.



24.01.2022 Sandy Cleeland has just placed her work into Indigo Red ARI. It is lovely to walk into the store in the morning and capture the image of the bright yellow kapok flower from the corner of your eye. A good start to the day.

21.01.2022 Artwhitsunday is holding a social day at Indigo between 10am- 2pm, Friday 10th February. Members and non members are invited to drop in for coffee and/or bring an art project to work on.

12.01.2022 Due to water damage through the ceiling following Cyclone Debbie, Indigo Red will be closed until repairs have been made. i would like to thank all those that have supported this venture.



12.01.2022 Finishing touches and packing artworks for my exhibition in the vault at Umbrella Contemporary Studio Gallery in Townsville on this Friday 13th. More information later. Some examples of the work at the end of the production stage.

10.01.2022 The store is slowly evolving, especially when compared to earlier photos. New artisans this week Alison Noble with lovely Shibori (Japanese manual resist dyeing technique) textiles and Penny Rogan with experimental acrylic works. Michelle Andrews has also expanded her product line with the addition of designed and printed handmade cushions. Please visit Indigo Red ARI to support your local artists and keep this store.

07.01.2022 Two months since the doors opened. Up to 22 local artisans displaying and selling products. The look of the store has greatly changed. Will update with new photos tomorrow!!
