24.01.2022 We still have some over 65 influenza vaccine available however other ages are in very short supply. We cannot get any pneumococcal vaccine as there is a shortage Australia wide. We are consulting face to face every morning and afternoons we can do consults by phone or Telehealth. Prescriptions are sent directly to Chiltern. Even though restrictions have relaxed please all be careful and diligent. Wash your hands and don’t go out unless you have too. Our after hours number i...s 0458772260 if it’s an emergency. You CANNOT attend the practice without a negative covid test if you have respiratory symptoms. You can be checked at wodonga and Wangaratta. Take care everyone we are here if you need us See more

23.01.2022 Indigo family Medical will be closed 25/11/2020 we are attending training. We will be open Thursday morning as usual. Anything urgent please use ED wodonga or Wangaratta but only if life threatening. Thank you Colin and Helen

21.01.2022 Here at IFMC business has been pretty much as usual during the pandemic except for shorter face to face hours. We have still been running immunisations, skin cancer surgeries, iron infusions and saving lives, well Colin has I just hold the pen ! We are open everyday 0900-1230 for face to face appointments this will not change despite rumours circulating from some that we are not open. We are contactable 24/7 through messenger and the after hours mobile for emergencies. ... The afternoons we are now doing our continued hospice work, phone consultations and general nursing services for those who we help when required. Covid has changed the way we think and a lot more is being achieved remotely. If you need a repeat script or referral for a specialist then please call for a phone appointment with Dr Cameron. If it’s just advice then please schedule a phone consultation. Be patient we know our phones are terrible 0458772260 is the after hours mobile and it is on during the day. [email protected] is the email that is checked regularly during the day. At this stage we will not be reopening the afternoons as the necessity and work flow has changed during the pandemic. We continue to service the community as best as we can. In clinic anything can happen in a day and sometimes delays are inevitable whilst waiting to transport an acutely unwell patient by ambulance, this is unavoidable and I thank each and everyone of you for your patience when this occurs. Colin has also been taking a lot of skin cancers off people as late so don’t forget to look at your skin and check anything suspicious and have a skin check if needed. We will be taking the grand final and Melbourne cup holidays off as we are completely exhausted at times and any day we can grab we will !!!! If you need to get in and we are fully booked please ask Paula to put you through to myself and I will see what I can do to accomodate you rather than you having to go elsewhere. Once again thank you and please all give yourselves a big Tick for getting through the second wave we appreciate all your continued support of our little practice that achieved big things. Best wishes always Helen, Paula and Colin Please share with your friends

20.01.2022 We are closed on Wednesday the 30/09/2020 sorry for the inconvenience please call after hours 0458772260 if it’s urgent

19.01.2022 Influenza vaccinations have arrived ! Those at risk I am endeavouring to get to you in your own homes. A lot of these people do not have social media and we don’t want them falling through the gaps. Please leave your name or pm me and I will be In touch with a time for your vaccination. ... Children and babies over 6 months are encouraged to be vaccinated. no one will miss out we have plenty of vaccinations. Cheers Helen

18.01.2022 Hello we are closed today for one day only if it’s urgent please message me or call the after hours number 0458772260 otherwise see you tomorrow

15.01.2022 Hello everyone We have been very busy vaccinating this last couple of weeks. We have managed to vaccinate 300 people for influenza and those eligible pneumonia. The government has now encountered a short supply of vaccine due to the overwhelming public response. Makes you think doesn’t it ? If these same people who are panicked had their vaccination every year then the statistics would reflect that number and we wouldn’t run out ! So we now wait on the vic govt to allow us another allocation and no I don’t have a date for arrival. Staying at home could be a good thing as you won’t get influenza or covid I have everyone on my list that’s asked and I will post when I’m restocked. At home over Easter like everyone else so if you need anything call or message happy Easter everyone

15.01.2022 We now have influenza vaccine in stock please let me know if you still have not had one and I will run a big clinic on Friday morning 9-12 just comment below if you are a patient and you are coming

10.01.2022 Good morning everyone sorry but we have no power today which means we can’t operate anyone who has an appointment today can come tomorrow if it’s urgent and we will somehow fit you in sorry for the inconvenience the phones are not working.

07.01.2022 Good morning just letting you all know we are closed today back tomorrow morning if it’s urgent message me

06.01.2022 As we go back into a six week lockdown please be aware we are open everyday and aim to be here everyday for the next six weeks. We are open 0900-1300 everyday. Hospice care is still 24/7. Please be aware we do not make the rules following covid testing. If your child is sent home from childcare with a runny nose then your child needs a covid test. We do NOT routinely test in the clinic. ... Please do not come to us if you have symptoms of Covid both myself and Colin cannot risk ourselves to exposure as that means no service available to the community. There is a federally funded respiratory clinic at central medical group in wodonga. The GP or NP will also see you for a consultation so if you need antibiotics etc you will be given them. This is bulk billed. Only use the covid clinics at the local hospitals if you cannot access CMG in Beechworth road wodonga. These are unprecedented times. We have NO covid locally at this time it would be nice to think we can keep It this way. Be safe, check on your neighbours and vulnerable members of the community. Check that elderly neighbours have food. Your mask is not a guarantee against covid it is a tool. Use it wisely, wear it properly, wash your hands and stay at home. If anyone would like anything clarified or help through the covid maze I will help if I can. Take care of each other Thank you Please share
