25.01.2022 E x t e n d e d L e a v e. I think I overestimated my desire & ability to jump back into work following welcoming my first child, as I’m thoroughly enjoying being a stay-at-home mum and loving being ‘present’ with my first born!!!! At this stage I am re-evaluating my goals in life, including the direction I wish to take Indigo Phoenix, and at this moment in time a re-opening date is just not able to be penned until I have a clear direction & goals for this busine...ss! I will of course keep everyone updated via this page, and I am grateful for you all *ORIGINAL POST: Just over 1 week ago on the arvo of 17th June, our precious new addition Christopher Raymond Paul made his debut! Healthy, happy & a content cruiser, he has slotted perfectly into our lives! I am recovering really well & simply enjoying time learning more & more about this heart-stealing guy! #LilChristopherRay #MaternityLeave #FamilyIsNotSomethingItsEverything #MamasGotThis #MumLife #MummingLikeaBoss #NewMama #SisterhoodOfMotherhood

22.01.2022 R A D I O interview about mindset, mental health & personal well-being in 2018! Being a new mum (& of course, human) has definitely required me to be more mindful; as challenges & stress can trigger unwanted emotional and behavioural patterns !!! This was so much fun!

21.01.2022 Read, and then read it again F O R G I V E and let them be... If someone or something is costing you peace, it’s costing you too much - but let’s get honest, only we have the power to do something about it Credit 3am Thoughts

15.01.2022 No it’s not #RUOKday ... BUT this (memory) is a TIMELY REMINDER that it should be MORE THAN ONE DAY that we practice asking, checking up on, checking in on... Xx

08.01.2022 It wasn’t always easy, but F%K YEAH it was WORTH IT... ... I was worth it ... and YOU are worth it! Yet another #RUOK reminder - ask, and then ask again & again ... See more

06.01.2022 This made my heart hurt so much! The unkind, painful and hurtful things that are said astound me! I believe actions are a result of leadership, and if it’s demonstrated to be okay in front of the tv or online in the way we speak and write - how do we expect young people to change what is sadly becoming normalised! Change starts with us & bullying stops with us - it is not the sole responsibility of the youth of our world !! Choose kindness people! Act with love! It’s free and easy, it makes others feel better and it’ll make your life better too

03.01.2022 R U OK is a great start, but there’s more to it... What if someone responds that they’re not ok? Truth is it can be hard to sit with our own pain & uncomfortable feelings, so are we prepared to sit with someone else’s if we open that conversation. Here’s a great link to learn what to do next: https://www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask And it’s ok not to be ok. I once experienced years of mild depression and battled suicidal thoughts & ideation. But almost no-one knew! I didn’t want ...them to, not back then anyway... BUT these days if I ever struggle I know it’s ok to reach out, because seeking help for mental health issues should be as normal as seeking help from a doctor for physical health issues! And let’s get used to asking more than once Because often it’s hard to keep hiding when someone seeks Because asking once or more may be hard, but never asking is the biggest regret when it comes to suicide Because some days are better than others, so a different day may get a different answer If you or someone you know needs to speak to someone, this website lists a number of helplines that suit varying individual needs & preferences: https://www.ruok.org.au/findhelp #RUOK #RUOKday
