25.01.2022 Just putting this here because I'm a huge fan of this incredible lady <3
21.01.2022 Indigo Space is moving! From 1st September 2020, Indigo Space will be located at Room 23, 706 Sturt Street in Ballarat Central. This has been a remarkably serendipitous move, completely unexpected, fear-inspiring, root and sacral chakra shaking, but so supported by the Universe and beautiful angels. At present, telehealth remains for now, but hopefully with the stabilization of the pandemic, we will be able to return to meet each other face to face soon. I very much look forward to that day! In the meantime, please enjoy the glorious winter sunshine out there that's a wonderful transitioning from beautiful winter to gorgeous spring time here in our Southern hemisphere. Take good care of yourself and your loved ones. Sending each of you love <3

16.01.2022 <3 Also, changes are coming...Indigo Space will soon be moving into her own space within the gorgeous old building of the Sturt Street Ballarat Business Centre, but bringing along the feels and magic of Solace & Soul, where I have blissfully been these past months. Many thanks to Fiona, the beautiful creator of Solace & Soul. Without you, I would never have had the courage nor vision to step out on my own and create a space that is as soul-rejuvenating as this, no less in th...e middle of a pandemic! <3 It has been a journey indeed, but a journey that is only just beginning! :) Lots of love <3

15.01.2022 The new moon in Libra following the Mercury Retrograde brings with her a much gentler energy after a period of chaos. The chaos we have been feeling on a global scale in the last few years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, recent bushfires, political upheavals, and global calamities and extinctions have culminated to this point. It has created, particularly strongly this year, a forceful push for each of us to re-evaluate how we have lived, but more importantly, how we ch...Continue reading
15.01.2022 Ho'oponopono...the ancient Hawaiian practice of forgiveness. At the heart of this are the 4 phrases: I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you. If you say these 4 phrases to yourself, what does each invoke in you?... If you say these 4 phrases to someone else, what do they evoke? If you change the order in which you speak the phrases, what do you then notice arising for you? I have personally found chanting this mantra to myself at times soothing, but more often than not, it brings up a certain dissonance within myself...it brings up for me the disharmony which I feel within myself to the surface, where I can then make the conscious choice to look at why I might be experiencing this un-ease with those simple words. I also then have the conscious choice of whether or not to change the way I think about myself, the world, and those around me. Other times, these words serve as a timely reminder of self-love and nurturance in a rather crazy world. I first learned about this mantra during my time as a psychologist in training while on placement at a hospice. It was one of the most soul-freeing and spirit-lifting experiences I've ever had the privilege of journeying through in my life. I learned lessons that I would never have had the opportunity to learn in several life-times, felt experiences I cherish to this day, saw and heard feelings I'd never imagined I would ever have the space within my heart to feel and hear. In a place where people went to "to wait to die", I'd never felt more alive. In the brief time I worked in a paediatric palliative care space, the concept of ho'oponopono became a final journey I had the great honour of walking alongside families on. To this day, palliative care, death and dying, and the grief journey remain my passion and calling. It was in this very setting where I saw ho'oponopono truly come alive. In a space where there is nothing else but "the end" to look forward to, loving forgiveness becomes THE thing that matters most. At a much larger and broader level, the concept of ho'oponopono is one that draws on our collective consciousness. Regardless of our individual values, faith, religion or spiritual inclination, all of these have this one thing in common...that of love. Ho'oponopono, therefore, becomes not simply a way to heal ourselves, but also others and our world. It teaches us that all life is connected. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.
14.01.2022 Whew...what a day this has been! A day that has been preceded by years of division that has zeroed in like a pin on this year 2020. We have, in our own individual ways and as a collective, been put through the wringer, had our deepest core values questioned and shaken, forcing us to evaluate and re-evaluate. Watching the joyous news on TV both in the USA and in Victoria, I can't help but feel quite emotional...in a wonderful way. The bubble of hope that is now churning away w...ithin my heart and guts is something I've not felt in a while, and it is a fabulous feeling! We are now reaching into an inevitably changed world. We have all walked through the shadows and we can now allow ourselves to step forward into the light, changed and shaped by all that has gone by in these very poignant times. An unknown lady on the news voiced it well..."we can breathe again". Regardless of where you stand on what's going on in the USA and in the global pandemic, the Universe is now calling on each of us to unite rather than divide. This unity first begins within ourselves. Celebrate and embrace both your shadows and your light. They are all there because of your soul contract, life experiences and your hopes for your future. Then look to those who are different and send them love. Recognise that we are all born free spirits. It is ok that the next person has very different views from you. Just as you may have difficulty understanding why he/she can be this ignorant/persistently idiotic/possessed, remember that this is exactly how that other person sees you too. Each of us is a mirror of the other and vice-versa. Therefore, love him/her anyway. What you project will in turn return to you. It's now time for unity rather than division. Breathe into your soul and radiate your light outwards to every sentient being around you. And that same light will radiate back to you

13.01.2022 This seems so apt right now. Look within...what is my lesson here? Connect with your source and breathe.
12.01.2022 As we witness the final lunar eclipse of 2020 on a full moon tonight, this poignant moment is calling on each of us to look within and evaluate our attachments. Attachments to that coping from our past that was created out of the sheer neccesity to protect ourselves that has become a shadow side of us in the present; attachment to fear of losing a loved one; attachment to chaos (yes, it happens more often than one is willing to admit); attachment to one's material possessions..., money, and anything that feeds the base chakra but also unbalances it; attachment to the ego. As the eclipse tonight gently reminds us to bear witness to the shadows within us, it also serves as a reminder for healing those old wounds and to integrate. Paradoxical as it may sound, loving those parts of ourselves that we reject can overturn the foundation from which they were built. If we can meet each shadow part with love, understanding, compassion and gratitude, we can then learn their full stories, how they'd developed to protect us in the first place out of love for our very being, and then seek to help those parts become unstuck, grow and transform. The full moon eclipse tonight is a loving reminder to not only face our shadows but to also bring them to light. This is a time for integration. As the earth moves into an Aquarian energy on 21st Dec, we can be ready to begin to allow ourselves to step into transformation and a new way of being. Set your intention for tonight. If you feel unsettledness within, instead of trying to dampen that with sex, drugs, overdosing on sedatives and alcohol, take a moment instead to give that unsettledness a voice. Journal with your non-dominant hand. And remember that the foundation of that unsettledness isn't meant to hurt you but protect you in the first place. Give yourself permission to hear its story with loving kindness. Then heal it, transform it and integrate through visualization and grounding. Use the ho'o pono pono mantra. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I forgive you. I love you. Sending you love on this magical night
11.01.2022 Indigo Space has moved into her new space! She has now plonked herself down at the other BBC room 23 on 706 Sturt St in Ballarat Central. While telehealth is still on-going, I will work hard at completing setting up. As you can see, the space is not quite complete as yet. When she is, I look forward to welcoming you back into her sanctuary! Loads and loads of thanks to Fiona of Solace & Soul. And also to my sister. For being so gracious and generous in not just finding this hidden treasure, but helping to create her!
10.01.2022 What recharges you? Spend some time with that today
09.01.2022 <3 Abortion...society as a whole places so much judgement on it, taking away the power of the woman/family and making it so taboo, to the extent of it becoming such a "shameful cross" one carries in secret. It absolutely doesn't have to be like this. Today, to all the women, men, families who have had to make the decision to abort, I see and feel you. And I honour you for your journey.
09.01.2022 Let's talk paradoxes
08.01.2022 As we gently re-open our doors again today, we ask that you work together with us to keep ourselves, our loved ones and our communities safe. If you are planning to attend your sessions in person, please ensure that you are healthy and have not had any exposure to anyone who may potentially be infected by COVID-19. If you are experiencing any of the following, I ask that you make arrangements to have your session via telehealth instead instead of attending in person: fever... dry cough tiredness sore throat shortness of breath or you have recently been tested for COVID-19 but have yet to receive your result you have had recent contact with someone who has just returned from overseas in the last 2 weeks you have had recent contact with someone who is suspected of having COVID-19 or who have been tested positive for COVID-19 you have been tested positive for COVID-19 DO NOT ATTEND SESSIONS IN PERSON IF YOU MEET ANY OF THE ABOVE CRITERIA!! If you are healthy and are opting to attend sessions in person, please ensure that you use the provided hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the waiting area before touching any other surfaces. If you belong in the vulnerable group, please consider continuing with your appointments via telehealth for your own safety. In these uncertain times, I ask that you look after yourself and your loved ones.
07.01.2022 How beautiful is it in Ballarat today? Time for some much-needed self-care and grounding. In a chaotic world where it's sometimes difficult to find that moment of peace, particularly as our world as we'd known it for the past 9 months is starting to change again, from isolation back to society, it is important to know that we HAVE been in isolation for a large part of this year. For some of us, returning to society may be a case of over-stimulation, which can be quite jarrin...g if we forget to take it slow and gentle in our glee to reconnect with our communities in person. I remember how I'd felt on the final evening of my 10 days at a Vipassana retreat in Nepal. There, I'd spent 9.5 days in absolute silence, sitting in silent meditation from dawn till bed-time, not speaking with anyone, not giving anyone eye contact...it was isolation at its best short of retreating by myself into the mountains. That evening when we were allowed to speak again, it was OVERWHELMING! Every voice that spoke sounded deafening even though all of us were whispering, voices raspy after not speaking for that long. Each of us voiced the same sentiment, that we wanted to hold on to that precious silence in our external world just for that little while longer even though some of us fought that very same silence all the way through. With the voice, came the emotional tsunami. After having no other option but to look inwards for 10 days, suddenly being faced with the world again was a punch-in-the-face over-stimulation. Every touch, every sound, every emotional experience was amplified. Nonetheless, we understood that we were still cushioned within the meditation centre. That evening was our gentle re-introduction to what we would need to face once we stepped out of the meditation centre's doors. I spent much of the next 4 days holing myself up in my guesthouse room, spending pockets of time exploring parts of the Nepalese neighbourhood that I stayed in and gesturing to my lovely Nepalese neighbours (due to our language differences). It was the gentle approach I'd needed before returning into the chaotic and ultra-vibrant embrace of Singapore, where I lived at the time. So remember, as you step back out into the world and re-introduce yourself to it, that you also remember to create space for yourself to do this gently and with the awareness that the experience of this re-introduction may be draining for you at first. Create space for yourself to spend time in nature, touch and connect with a tree or animal, nourish your soul and spirit, and do it all again tomorrow. Enjoy this glorious spring day in sunny Victoria! P.S. How beautiful is that roadwork pattern separating the canopy of the trees? Mother Nature understands the concept of community and individual space so everyone can grow together!
05.01.2022 Dear all, it is with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to move back to telehealth only sessions as the numbers in regional Victoria keep climbing and we return into Stage 3 restrictions. As I work across 3 settings, the risks for community transmission are simply too high. At this point, Medicare has come on board with a further 10 sessions (total of 20 sessions) for all during this pandemic (until end March 2021). In these challenging times, I ask that you and your loved ones look after yourselves. Keep safe and well.
05.01.2022 It's a gorgeous glorious snow day here in good ol' Ballarat and it looks like it's going for a while more! Snow to me symbolizes not only purity and gentleness, but also fun. As someone who has trouble having fun unless it's thrills, moving from tropical Singapore to wintry Ballarat has been one of the best leap of faith I've ever taken in my life. Enjoy the snow day in Spring lovelies. Let your inner child out for some fun...make a snow angel, build a snowman/woman, or just ...sit back with a hot cuppa and witness the miracle of our mother nature. The snow today is a reminder to each of us to take that much needed breath and be gentle and present with ourselves. P. S. My colleague at my regular job made the snowman...I just squeeled and helped with the eyes
04.01.2022 Wherever you are, in whatever head/heart space you are in, know that you are enough. Today, do something to refill your heart and soul. Put your oxygen mask back on before you go and put on everyone else's oxygen masks. In these crazy times, it has never more important to take that moment to take care of and nurture yourself.... Sending you love <3
03.01.2022 October 15 is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. This is a day where parents all around the world remember their babies who have adopted their angel wings. Wherever you are, if you have experienced the difficult transitioning of your little angel through infant/neonatal death, stillbirth, SIDS, miscarriage or abortion...know that you are held and so very loved by your angel wings and the Universe
03.01.2022 Couldn't have said it better
01.01.2022 Dear all, with the 2nd wave not quite abating, the Victorian Premier has advised that, in addition to Greater Melbourne and the Mitchell shire, the Greater Geelong and Otway region, as well as the Moorabool and Golden Plains are now in lock down. The Premier has also advised that, as of 11:59pm on 2nd August 2020, face coverings are required when we are stepping out from our homes. At this point, I am taking the step to move to telehealth-only sessions with clients who reside... within the lock-down regions. For those residing outside of these areas, I am still open to seeing clients face-to-face. If you are still attending your sessions in person, please note that you will be required to wear an appropriate face covering (face mask, etc) for the duration of the time you are within the practice space. You will also be required to use the provided hand sanitizer before touching any surfaces within the space. I will continue to monitor the situation closely. Should there be further issues, the move would then be to resume telehealth-only sessions until the pandemic stabilizes again. Please do NOT attend in person if: - you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, such as shortness of breath, fever, dry cough, tiredness, headache, etc. - if you have recently been COVID-tested but have yet to receive a negative result; - if you have had recent contact with someone who has been COVID-tested; - if you have had recent contact with, or have yourself been to, the lock-down areas; - if you refuse to or are unable to wear an appropriate face covering for whatever reason. If you meet any of the above criteria, please make contact to move your appointment to a telehealth one instead. I thank each of you for your understanding. Let us all ensure that each of us and our loved ones remain safe and well. I also ask that you look after yourself and your loved ones.
