25.01.2022 Thank you to those who attended the seminar. I dealt with the techniques that everyone knew from a different perspective. The techniques may appear to be the sa...me however the source of power needed to execute the techniques were different. The seminar was successful as every one was open minded committed and enthusiastic. The training was intense as it was my desire that your take out from the seminar was not just in your head but in your body as well. I hope you are able to apply what you have learned from the seminar to the many techniques you already have. See more

19.01.2022 #explanationsaturday Today: The Jinkum The Jinkum is an Handmade traditional sword and made from the finest materials by master craftsmen and master sword smith...s in South Korea. There are swords with a 3-sided blade and a 6-sided blade. The sword with the 6-sided blade was usually used to smash heavy armor and are suitable for both straw mat and bamboo cutting The sword with the 3-sided blade is significantly lighter than the 6-sided one. The shape of the blade is similar to a triangle. This makes the back of the sword thinner. In contrast to the 6-sided sword, the 3-sided sword was not used to smash armor, but to cut between the armor by moving quickly. 3-sided blades are suitable for straw mat cutting #kummooyeh #jinkum #realsword #cutting #strawmat #bamboocutting #korea #sword #archery #wkf #martialarts

12.01.2022 #explanationsaturday Today: The korean bow The korean bow (Hwal) is a water buffalo horn-based composite reflex bow, standardized centuries ago from a variety o...f similar weapons in earlier use. The korean bow utilizes a thumb draw and therefore employing the use of a thumb ring is quite common. Also, the arrow is laid on the right side of the bow, unlike the western bow, where the arrow is laid on the left side of the bow. The standard length is unstretched 96cm, when the bow is stretched, it is 110cm long and the draw weight varies between 30-45 pounds #kummooyeh #bow #hwal #korea #sword #archery #wkf #martialarts
