25.01.2022 ANOTHER NIGHT OF SUCCESSFUL INVITATIONAL GAMES The first game on Tuesday night, we saw Smash and Grab merchants take on the Fisherman. With the Fisherman making a positive start to the winter season and coming out on top. Game 2 saw the Ring-Ins take on Strikidonia, for the first time ever beating Strikeidonia the Ring-Ins came out on top, beating them by 38 runs. ... Rare Sea Eagles play the Black Wiggles tonight in a 8-a-side game!

25.01.2022 INDOOR CRICKET IS BACK!! Indoor cricket started back up last night and we had two close games! The Silver-Piston cup, between Quicksilver and Piston broke came down to the last partnership with Piston Broke winning back the cup.... Game two saw the Taroona Tugboats take on the Swashbucklers in a game that came down the the last over with captain Raymond Bannister keeping his cool with the ball to lead the Tugboats to victory.

25.01.2022 The Indoor Cricket World Weekly Wrap Up The Week of the 24th of February Monday Night Results:... Quicksilver made a total of 121 to defeat the Taroona Tugboats who made 114, with a close game coming down to the last over. Piston Broke had their first loss of the season to the Crays with scores of 101 to 148. The Swashbucklers went back onto the winners board with defeating Hard Knox 158 to 84. Mondays Player of the Night: Tarrin scored 35 runs with a strike rate of 159 and took 6 for -17 off his 3 overs. Tarrin won a $20 voucher to Billys Burgers. Wednesday Night Results: Smash and Grab Merchants were able to continue their winning streak to win against The Floggers 87 to 48. With the captain Allan Wisby making a big impact from his game off with a contribution of 22. The Ring Ins were able to win against The Fisherman with a 84 to 63 win. Strikhedonia were able to continue their undefeated record against Levetts, with a 110 to 61 win. Wednesdays Player of the Night: Andrew Pender was the player of the night with a contribution of 24 including, 33 runs a strike rate of 253 and taking 1 for 9 off his 2 overs. 18.01.2022 Indoor Cricket Weekly wrap up Week of the 9th of March Junior Indoor Results:... The public holiday was well spent on Monday afternoon for many Junior Boys and Girls at the Hub. Sandy Bay played there first game in the roster and lost to the Kingston Rockets 79 to 102. The Smashers and Southern Storm had a close game with The Smashers coming on top 93 to 72. Well done to all the boys and girls participated, we hope you are enjoying the roster! Mens Monday Night Results: On Monday Jedi Knights played against the Swashbucklers, both teams had strong starts to their batting innings with 77 for the Jedi Knights and 75 for the Swashbucklers. Jedi Knights were able to hold on for the win 154 to 136. The second game at 6.30 had a convincing win to Quicksilver against Hard Knox, 173 to 88 with Hard Knox managing to win one skin coming away with 1 point. Piston Broke continued their winning streak against the Taroona Tugboats 158 to 102. Mondays Player of the Night: Andrew Pender was man of the night with 26 runs and taking 6/-11 of his 3 overs. He won a $20 voucher for Billys Burgers. Mens Wednesday Night Results: In our social roster the Fisherman had a big win over The Floggers 119 to 23. Strikhedonia won against Levetts 91 to 125. With Strikhedonia putting on a class performance with all 3 partnerships making above 40 runs each. 18.01.2022 INVITATIONAL GAMES PREVIEW Quicksilver and Piston Broke Cup As the restrictions lift, the Indoor Cricket One-Off Invitational Games at Indoor Cricket World will commence!... The play off for the Silver Piston Cup will be happening between Quicksilver and Piston Broke for our first 'One-Off Invitational Game' on June 15, this will be a historical game for the center for many reasons! Piston Broke has won 24 times and Quicksilver 20 times with only 1 draw! The Cup started in 2014 and was created by Garry Tomes. Piston Broke started in 2001 and have been playing for 20 years, throughout this time they have won 8 rosters. There have been many successful players that have played in either team such as Clive Rose (Hobart Hurricanes Cricketer) and Tim Hunt (defending series MVP). We cant wait to see these two teams go head to head again for another close Indoor Cricket match! Results will be posted soon after the historical match!

Monday Night Results: With the Swashbucklers going down to Piston Broke by 28 runs, 121 to 149. Quicksilver managed to get over the line by winning there last and only skin for the night beating Jedi Knights 136 to 133. The last game of the night was The Crays playing against the Taroona Tugboats, with The Crays winning 182 to 109. Mondays Player of the Night: Kaspar Deane having a positive contribution of 37 to help The Cray get over the line. We saw the Swashbucklers take on the Phoenix's, with Alex Butler getting the Man of the Match with a contribution of 44. In Court 2 Anger management took on the Taroona Tugboats with Jesse Arnold taking out the Player of the Match and the Billy's Burgers voucher for the 6.30 time slot. The 8 o'clock was a special game for Piston Broke and Quicksilver playing there 50...th game against each other. 12.01.2022 INDOOR CRICKET WORLD UPDATE! After many weeks of no Indoor Cricket we hope to be now on the way to recovery from the COVID-19 restrictions. Working with the Governments three stage Roadmap with new regulations, we have commenced planning for the resumption of Indoor Cricket. Stage 1:... On the 15th of June we will be starting our invitational one off games for the adult teams. This will provide a great opportunity to get a game against your biggest friendly rival or just come and give it a go with friends! It is also an opportunity to enable players to hone their game sense skills ready for the outdoor season to kick off. Stage 2: The Indoor Cricket rosters for the Men will start of on the 13th of July on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Nights. Stage 3: The Junior Indoor Cricket programs will start in Term 3 and will be on Monday (Grades 4-6) and Tuesday (Grades 1-3) afternoons. With Friday afternoons open for the High School Rosters. 11.01.2022 The Indoor Cricket World Weekly Wrap Up The Week of the 2nd of March The Junior Indoor Cricket started up for the first roster of the year! Many boys and girls were at the Hub enjoying the great game of Indoor Cricket. Then we saw the Mens Indoor Roster get well underway, as the finals are a couple of weeks away teams felt the pressure.... Southern Christian College entered in two teams to the roster and they went head to head in a bid to win bragging rights at school. The Southern Cyclones won with 112 runs to Southern Storms 43 runs. The other game was The Smashers against the Kingston Rockets. The newly formed team; The Smashers went down to a strong Kingston Rockets team; 26 runs to 103 runs. Well done to all the boys and girls participated, we hope you enjoyed the first round of the roster! Mens Monday Night Results: Piston Broke and Quicksilver had another rival match this week with Piston Broke taking home the rivalry Trophy. Quicksilver made 100 and Piston Broke chased it down quite easily with only falling short on the second skin, and won with 132. The Crays continued their strong session with a dominant performance of 212 with the bat with Hard Knox replying with 67. The Tugboats had a close game with Jedi knights but were defeated 88 too 132. Mondays Player of the Night: The Player of the night was Brad Duggan from Jedi Knights with a contribution of 43, making 46 runs and taking 4/-1 off his 3 overs. He won a $20 voucher for Billys Burgers. Mens Wednesday Night Results: In our social competition Smash and Grab merchants finished their winning streak with a loss to the Fisherman 119 too 98. Levetts started strong with putting 102 on the board against the Ring Ins, with the Ring Ins needing 58 in the last partnership Nathan and Dion were able bring it home for the Ring Ins with a 64 run stand ending the scores 102 too 108. 10.01.2022 LAST WEEK OF INDOOR CRICKET INVITATIONAL GAMES Monday night the last week of invitational games before the roster saw The Marlons (formally known as SHSB) take on the Swashbucklers and head to a convincing win with Jack Bowerman and Michael Flanagan leading the way for The Marlons, Michael taking 4 wickets and Jack taking out the MVP. On court 2 we saw Kettering back in action against Quicksilver coming down to the wire. Kettering fell 10 runs short in the run chase. The las...t Tuesday night saw Smash & Grab show a dominant performance over last winters winners Wack Fx, While premieres Strikhedonia successfully held back the Huonville Bulls in a nail biter coming down to Josh from the Bulls needing a wicket of the last ball of the game. The next games were the Fisherman and Mitre 10, with the Fisherman making it two wins from two games while the Ring In's were able to get on top of Hard Knox. The Wednesday night games saw a new team; the Emerson Fazackerly + 4 take on the Rare Sea Eagles. With only three Emerson Fazackerly + 4 players, they put a total of 170 on the board. It came down to the last over with Clive handling the pressure well and with the aid of some Rare Sea Eagles players in the field the Emerson Fazackerly + 4 got the win. The 8-a-side game in Court 2 saw the Black Wiggles take on the Runners Up. The Runners Up came out on top. Well done to all the teams who played in the Invitational Games at Indoor Cricket world and we cant wait to start off the roster soon!

09.01.2022 The first Wednesday back at Indoor Cricket World, saw some talent with the bat and ball on display; The first two games saw Strikhedonia show there good form from last season to win against the new team Hack Attack, and Six Biscuitz showed a dominant performance against Percentage Boosters. David Dillon had a great with a contribution of 44 and won the Billy's Burger voucher. The second game was between the defending champions The Ring In's against Hard Knox with The Ring In...'s winning and Dion becoming Man of the Match and winning the Billy's Burger voucher Congrats to all that played last night and thanks to Billy Burgers too!

08.01.2022 INVITATIONAL WEDNESDAY NIGHT ROUND: A low scoring but close game to finish off the week of Indoor Cricket on Wednesday Night. Jack Ross and Richard Cowlard put up a good fight to get the Black Wiggles close but Tim's Rare Sea Eagles were able to hold off the late attempt and get the win.

08.01.2022 FINALS WEEK First week of finals started with some close games and some convincing wins. The first final saw Anger Management play extremely well with Ash Hutchinson leading the team to victory with making 53 with the bat and taking 5/-8 with the ball being the best performance and contribution by an individual for the whole roster ! The second final saw The Marlons play Piston Broke with last time... The Marlons chasing a similar total falling short. This time around saw the Marlons go the same way with the first partnership making 3. But in the end The Marlons were able to claim a close 1 run victory! The Eagles were able to keep their winning streak going and take all the points against Kettering with Quicksilver putting on a show lead by Tim Hunt against Jedi Knights to take there 7 points. Time playing: 2 years This team is always been great to play against and have been enjoying themselves on the Monday night competition wearing there bright yellow tops. Core players of the team: Raymond Bannister Matt Crawford Evan Franklin Ollie Grant Skey Harvey Dan Kaimatsoglu Curtis Lind Sean McPhail Tristan Robarts John Scarafiotti Taroona Tugboats are only a fairly new team on the Indoor Cricket scene but have already made there presence known from there super friendly attitude to the bright yellow tops and being able to give almost all teams a run for there money. We are glad to see them come back and play some of the one off games in June and hopefully we can see them lift the trophy at the end of the winter roster.

05.01.2022 MONDAY NIGHT INDOOR With the last night of rostered games and points up for grab before finals, the first two games were between Anger Management and The Eagles. Shaun Frogson put in a dominant performance making 61 runs off his own bat. Court 2 saw The Marlons take on Kettering with a close battle between Shane Proctor and Michael Flanagan saw Michael take the win for The Marlons. The second game saw Piston Broke to strong for Jedi Knights and Swashbucklers keep there 4th spot for the finals against the Taroona Tugboats. We look forward to our final week next week of the Harcourt's Sixers Winter Competition!

02.01.2022 INDOOR CRICKET WORLD - INDOOR CRICKET ROSTERS & CRICKET HUB GROUP PROGRAMS ARE PUT ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Given the current climate it is appropriate for us to put on hold our Indoor Cricket Rosters and Group Programs. We have received advice from Cricket Australia and Cricket Tasmania that this is the action they are recommending, and we are happy to support their action. We know little of this virus, but we see the damage it can cause to loved ones and the pressure it... is placing on healthcare and we do not want this for our community, we wish to play our part. We are only sorry that for our loyal customers we cannot provide the usual physical and social outlet we enjoy providing for the community through Indoor Cricket. We will advise once the situation has settled down and we can return to normal. COACHING SESSIONS & RETAIL EQUIPMENT These services will remain available - however we will monitor closely. 01.01.2022 INVITATIONAL GAME RESULTS AND PREVIEW The second week of the Invitational Indoor Cricket games saw Quicksilver take on a new team the South Hobart Sandy Bay, with South Hobart Sandy Bay getting a narrow victory with Jack Bowerman and Michael Flanagan having a great partnership at the end. The second game of the night saw old rivals; Taroona Tugboats and Hard Knox play for bragging rights. Hard Knox had a brilliant game with the stand out of Phill Davis's one hand catch and J...oe Davis's Man of the Match performance to see Hard Knox win the game.
