25.01.2022 Brisbane Senior Mets Day 2. Another long day at the pool with some great results along the way. The majority of swimmers who raced today have more tomorrow right from the start of the day to the girls 1500m free the last event before finals. Day 2 results: Alexis 4th 17-18yrs 100 back Angus 34th 200 free, 52nd 100 free ( pb both events)... Ash 7th open 100 fly (pb) Bailey 48th 100 free ( best events tomorrow) Bronwyn 4th 16 yrs 200m breast, 5th open 100m breast (pb) then 3rd 16 yrs in a pb 5mins later. An awesome effort Jono 6th open 100m back, 9th in both 17-18 yrs 100m free and back. Kara 2nd 17 yrs 200 fly, 1st open 100 fly Kokone 13th 200 free Phoebe 14th 100m free (pb), 6th 400 IM (pb) Rachel 2nd open 400m free and 200m back, 6th 100m back (pb). Our coaches are set for another busy day.

24.01.2022 Just a reminder our first club night is on tomorrow night arrive around 5.40pm starting at 6pm, There will be a BBQ going and some races. For everyone who doesn't know you will need to be registered with Queensland swimming to enter club night from now on. Adam will be going through how to sign up and registered with parents this week and next week at club nights. So come on down watch some races, learn about the new sign up process and have some food. 24.01.2022 Well done! Indooroopilly Swimming attended the Clem Jones swim carnival where Christine won 2 gold medals, Katherine placed 4th twice, Alice also placed 4th twice and Sylvia had 3 top 10 finishes. Fantastic effort girls!

20.01.2022 We are running a raffle to support the Rural Fire Brigade with some fantastic prizes including an underwater family photo shoot by a professional photographer, chocolates, wine and even private swimming lessons. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased on the pool deck before or after school.

20.01.2022 Holiday classes have now been released. Come along for some holiday fun in this perfect weather. Classes are available at all levels. If you haven't swum with us in Term 3, simply come along for a free assessment at 8am or 3pm each weekday. No booking required. 09.01.2022 Brisbane Senior Mets Day One. First up Bronwyn swam the Open 200m Breast finishing in 7th place just outside her pb. Phoebe and Kokone were up next in the 14yrs 200 IM. Phoebe finished in 8th shaving 5.45 sec off her pb. Kokone finished in 14th.... before coming out again and finishing 3rd in the 800m free in a pb. Ash swam the 1500m free.. a tough race for a Friday night, coming 5th overall. Finally Samantha swam the 800m free, finushing 2nd in 15yrs girls and taking 10 secs of her previous best. We have another big program today.

09.01.2022 After a very long and storm interrupted day, we are very proud of all our swimmers for all of them taking a step out of their comfort zone today and relishing the challenge of attempting new events. Have to give a special mention to 2 girls Gracie for what may have been the biggest PB by anyone today with a 29 sec PB in the 200 IM and Phoebe for her 400 IM after not knowing weather it would be on or not and doing a great time at her first ever attempt, along with Jake who ended a massive day with one of the toughest events on the program.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to all who participated at Brisbane Junior Mets over the weekend. We had many medallists and pbs across both days. Overall Placing in our division shall be known shortly.

Club Nights will be free to Indooroopilly State School students but you must register to come via our website https://www.indooroopillyswimming.org.au//Recreational-Swi Club Nights run each Friday this term from 6pm. Parents and swimmers can enjoy some food from our BBQ. It is a fun night and we look forward to seeing some new faces.

06.01.2022 What a weekend. Thankyou to our coaches for prepping our swimmers and being with them over 3 days of racing heats and finals. Sunday saw many pbs and medals won. Biggest pb Sami Coates 30 secs to win 15 yrs 1500m free and also 3rd in 1500m open event. Next up Junior Mets on 10-11 March... go Indro!

Learn to swim classes are filling fast so if you are not sure of your child's level or have never swim with us come down this week for an assessment.
